The Bad Egg Books Infoshop (aka Eugene Infoshop) is based out of the Boreal, a volunteer-run, all-ages music venue in Eugene, Oregon. The Boreal started in January 2014 and since late May/early June, Bad Egg Books Infoshop has been a work-in-progress. We still have work to do, but we figured at this point it would be great to inform the wider community about this project.

We currently have literature sections on ecology/environmentalism, race/racism, how-to/reference/DIY, food politics, anti-capitalist, prisons/prisoners, radical socio-political, anarchist/anti-authoritarian, gender/LGBT/queer studies, and more. There is also the magazine and Zine collection for the reading room aspect of the Infoshop. We are also a bookshop as most of our books are available to take home for a $ 5 donation to keep our space going. Currently, our Anarchist and some of our related radical socio-political texts are not for sale. We intend to keep those with the zine/magazine collection as part of our Reading Room project. Any donations towards the Infoshop go to the Boreal, as it is a non-profit, volunteer-run operation.

We have received donations of magazines and literature from Fifth Estate magazine, Slingshot, Long Haul Infoshop (Berkeley, CA), and Black Seed newspaper (Local Eugene resident and Anarchist John Zerzan dropped off free literature as well.)
