22MAY Stop the EDL – 22nd May – Colchester

13177966_1216487471695176_4434533340008008974_n

This year the EDL once again plan to descend on Colchester town centre bringing scenes reminiscent of last May’s march which saw nazi salutes on the war memorial and brutality from both police and the far-right. We call once again on locals, students and anti-fascists from far and wide to join us in Colchester on the 22nd of May to say no to the EDL.

Whether it be a march, gathering or meeting – fascists must be countered at every opportunity.

If you need further information, help with travel or for the meeting point (disclosed nearer the date) please contact us at: essexantifa@hush.com

IMPORTANT: If you are traveling from outside of Colchester, please email essexantifa@hush.com

On Saturday, May 28, racist boofheads from a nü patriotik grouplet called the ‘True Blue Crew’ (TBC) have organised a counter-rally in the suburb of Coburg in Melbourne. On that date, Sue Bolton of the Socialist Alliance has organised a rally titled ‘Moreland says NO to Racism’:

• Stop the forced closure of Aboriginal communities – Treaty now
• Let the refugees in – Close Manus and Nauru
• No to Islamophobia

Stop the Fascist March in Brighton! (4 june 2016)

On the 4th of June, a group of far-right racists want to protest in Brighton against refugees.

The group, calling themselves “South Coast Resistance” or “Pie and Mash Squad” say they’re opposed to our city hosting any refugees whilst British people are homless. In reality, this is simply an excuse for their undisguised racism. These fascists don’t care about homelessness, they just want to keep refugees out. The reason for the homelessness in Brighton isn’t the (frankly pathetically small) amount of refugees we’re taking in, it’s the government selling off all the council stock, closing homeless shelters and banning squatting.

PANTHERES ENRAGEES: intervista al gruppo francese

pantheres-enrages_logo-e1380813761547

Blink and You’ll Miss It – Fascists in Pompey

1

Today, the pathetic far-right fantasists of the Pie and Mash Squad (or “South Coast Resistance” as they’d rather be known these days) held their inaugural demo of the year in Portsmouth. Given that it’s their home turf (most of them live in or around Pompey), they were probably expecting quite a large turnout. That’s not exactly what happened…

The day started early when local antifascists got word that the fascists had been locked out of their meet-up pub (The ‘spoons on the corner of Guildhall) and had taken their rally point early with some tinnys instead. Around 20 nationalists had set up camp at the top of Guildhall steps and hung a banner and two flags, one saying “Leicester casuals”. What the fuck they were doing in Pomepy instead of celebrating is anybody’s guess…
