Almost every day accommodations of asylum seekers are set on fire – while racist mobs flood the streets with their resentment, fuelled by hateful discussions on the internet. All over Germany the omnipresent, racist agitation is turned into violence – words become actions. Meanwhile, politics complement this resentment with legislative texts, and the state cracks down on people who oppose this developement.
It is neither surprising nor new that radical antifascism is not met with approval by the authorities in Munich. But the extent of the current wave of repression against antifascists is something we won’t tolerate. Enough is enough! For months now, the state has put massive repression on those who take action against the racist Pegida-marches. We are confronted with constant police violence, arrests and numerous trials. The current peak of this campaign is the arrest of the antifascist Paul. He is kept in pre-trial detention since July 20th under the pretext of him carrying a small flag which allegedly could be used as a weapon. For this completely ridiculous reason Paul is locked down in Stadelheim prison to wait for his trial, which is scheduled for September 15th. On this occasion we will carry our rage to the streets of Munich’s inner city with a demonstration on September 12th.

Fast jeden Tag brennen Unterkünfte für Asylsuchende, während rassistische Mobilisierungen die Ressentiments aus den Internetkommentarspalten auf die Straße spülen. Die allgegenwärtige, hasserfüllte Hetze wird bundesweit in Gewalt überführt – aus Worten werden Taten. Gleichzeitig gießt die Politik die Menschenfeindlichkeit in Gesetzestexte, während der Staat mit voller Härte gegen Menschen vorgeht, die sich dem Ganzen in den Weg stellen.
Dass entschlossener Antifaschismus in München auf wenig Gegenliebe seitens staatlicher Behörden stößt ist weder überraschend noch neu. Das Ausmaß der aktuellen Repressionswelle gegen Antifas können wir allerdings nicht einfach hinnehmen. Es reicht! Und das schon lange. Seit Monaten überzieht der Staat jene, die gegen die rassistischen Pegida-Märschen in München aktiv werden, mit massiver Repression. Wir sehen uns mit regelmäßiger Polizeigewalt, Festnahmen und zahlreichen Prozessen konfrontiert. Der bisherige Höhepunkt ist dabei die Inhaftierung des Antifaschisten Paul. Seit dem 20. Juli sitzt er in Untersuchungshaft. Als Vorwand muss ein kurzes Fähnchen herhalten, dass ihm als Waffe ausgelegt wird. Aus diesem – an Lächerlichkeit kaum zu überbietenden – Grund wartet Paul in Stadelheim seit Wochen auf seinen Prozess. Dieser soll am 15. September statt finden. Anlässlich des Prozesses wollen wir mit einer überregionalen Demonstration am 12. September unsere Wut in die Münchner Innenstadt tragen. Antifaschistischer Widerstand bleibt legitim und notwendig!
