Many neo-Nazis are other extremists are expected to attend. There will also be controversial speakers from abroad including Tommy Robinson, the former spokesman of the extreme right, and violent hooligan English Defence League club. Edwin Wagensveld which organizes the Pegida demonstration in Utrecht, resigned in Germany as spokesman for Pegida. Wagensveld an arms dealer who has many contacts with neo-Nazis in the Netherlands.
Pegida is attempting to sabotage the debate on refugees, in order to spread their racist ideas. A dangerous development that must be stopped! By the right to freedom of expression abuse, the right-wing extremists create a sanctuary for the glorification of racism and Islamophobia. That freedom is merely a façade to intimidate the residents of the city where they demonstrate.
Pegida will gather at 14:00 at the Neude in Utrecht, to then run a demonstration through the city. So come at 14:00 at the Neude in order to minimize the space for racism and Islamophobia or find a place along the route. No room for the far right!
