Bradford Anti-Fascist Network Fundraising Festival

Bradford Anti-Fascist Network are holding a festival to raise funds for organising against the EDL coming to Bradford on the 14th of November. The funds will also be used for setting up the group, in order to start doing general actions/activities around anti-fascism and towards building a culture of anti-fascism in Bradford.

The festival will be a full day event which will include a benefit gig, a legal observer training session for people wanting to be legal observers on the 14th, a banner making session, and a film screening followed by an open discussion.

Entrance to the gig is 2 pounds, and donations are welcome throughout the day.

Program:

Club (and bar) opens at 12.00
12.00-16.00: Banner Making in the Gig Floor
13.00-15.00: Legal Observer training by Leeds Green and Black Cross
16.00-19.00: Film Screening “When the EDL came to Bradford” followed by an open discussion on how to resist the EDL

Bradford AFN would like to thank everybody (and there are many) who came together very fast and very effectively and helped pull this event together under such short notice.
