**Statement**Abajo en espanol**
We are here at the Spanish Embassy in London in protest against the events due to the Operacion Pandora. We also stand in solidarity with all the people affected and arrested as a consequence of it. And demand that 1) All prisoners have to be released 2) All charges have to be dropped 3) Harassment towards political activists has to stop.
The Spanish state in the past years has pursued a strategy of repression revolving around targeting random members of the Anarchist community, and other communities in struggle, and accusing them of terrorist charges. The State has little intention of actually convicting any person they arrest under such charges, but simply wish to inspire fear in the movement and paralyse any actions. This is shown in the fact that none of these persons have been convicted, but the state simply holds them for years in pre-trial detention before releasing them.
On the 28th of October, the Catalan police (Mossos d Esquadra) directed by the Audiencia Nacional (High Court in Madrid), arrested 9 persons in Catalonia with the generic accusation of “membership of a criminal organisation with terrorist aims”. Several houses were searched and the Anarchist Social Centre of Sants (a neighbourhood in Barcelona) was raided. The police found no evidence of terrorist activity and they took with them books, notes and even kitchen knives. The judge Juan Pablo Gonzalez Gonzalez released two of the arrested, and gave a conditional bail for six of the arrested. The comrade Enrique Costoya Allegue, who is a lawyer that has defended Comrades accused in previous ‘’terrorism’’ cases, remains in the Prison of Soto del Real.
All the arrested are said by the police to be part of a state invented organisation called GAC-FAI-FRI. The state added a random acronym (‘’GAC’’) to Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI), an actual Anarchist body, but not one active among the Spanish milieu that the arrested come from. This is part of an effort to extend the accusations of terrorism to the entire political milieu which confronts the austerity and capitalist policies outside of Parliamentary Politics.
The next week after this raid, 5 more comrades were arrested in Madrid under the accusation of terrorism. They were activists of a Straight Edge Group and were persecuted because they were organised and tried to spread their political ideas. Also, activists in Galicia were arrested on the grounds of terrorism activity.
As the capitalist crisis deepens and the misery extends, the state increases the pressure on activists that don’t accept their policies and who fight back by organising in their neighbourhoods, workplaces and universities. A clear example of this is the Law of Citizen Security, or Ley de Seguridad Cuidadana, which has cut all kinds of protest rights and converted us into criminals while giving more power to the police.
The opposition of people that do not accept the parliamentarian game because knows that direct action and auto-organisation makes the capitalist and the state tremble, is still active.
Hence, we demand:
1) All prisoners have to be released
2) All charges have to be dropped
3) Harassment towards political activists has to stop.

Estamos hoy concentrados en la Embajada de España en Londres en protesta en contra de la Operacion Pandora y lo que ha derivado de ello. Nos alzamos en solidaridad con la gente afectada a raiz de la Operacion y con los presos.
Demandamos que 1) Todos los arrestados sean liberados 2) Todos los cargos deben ser retirados 3) La persecucion de activistas politicos tiene que parar hoy.
El estado español en los ultimos años ha llevado una politica de persecucion y represion de miembros aleatorios las comunidades anarquistas y otros grupos acusandolos de terrorismo. El estado no parece tener intencion de condenar a estas personas, simplemente mantenerlas bajo presion policial para meter miedo y paralizar los movimientos. La manera en que esto se hace es teniendo durante años a los acusados en la prision (o fuera de ella) esperando el juicio.
El 28 de Octubre los Mossos d’Esquadra mandados por la Audiencia Nacional arrestaron 9 personas en Catalunya bajo la generica acusacion de “pertenecer a una organizacion criminal con objectivos terroristas”. Varias casas fueron registradas y tambien un Ateneo Anarquista en el barrio de Sants en Barcelona fue asaltado. La policia no encontro ninguna prueba o indicio de terrorismo pero se llevaron libros, notas y utensilios de cocina. El juez Juan Pablo Gonzalez Gonzalez decreto libertad para dos de los arrestados, y seis con libertad condicional bajo fianza. El abogado Enrique Costoya Allegue, que defendio a camaradas en la ronda de acusaciones anteriores de la actual fase de la Operacion Pandora sigue en la Prision del Soto del Real.
La policia ha acusado a estas personas de pertenecer a una organizacion llamada GAC-FAI-FRI, organizacion inventada por la policia. Esto ha ocurrido añadiendo sin razon GAC (inexistente) a Federacion Anarquista Informal (FAI) que aunque existe, no tiene ningun tipo de conexion con el colectivo de Barcelona o con la Federacion Anarquista Iberica (tambien llamada FAI). Esta invencion no es mas que una excusa para extender las acusaciones de terrorismo a aquellos que han decidido resistir a las politicas capitalistas y de austeridad sin entrar en la arena parlamentaria.
Una semana despues de los arrestos, 5 compañeros fueron arrestados en Madrid bajo la acusacion de terrorismo. Son activistas de un grupo Straight Edge y han sido perseguidos porque estaban organizados y trataban de extender sus ideas politicas (entre las que se encuentran el rechazo a las drogas, por ejemplo). Por si fuera poco el Estado arresto tambien a compañeros Gallegos acusandolos de realizar actos de terrorismo.
Mientras la crisis capitalista se recrudece y la miseria se extiende, el Estado incrementa su presion a los activistas que no aceptan las politicas que este impone, organizandose en los barrios, los centros de trabajo y las universidades. Un claro ejemplo de esto es la Ley de Seguridad Ciudadana, que coarta todos los derechos de protesta convirtiendo a estos en criminales (con el consiguiente poder que esto da a la policia).
La oposicion de aquellos que no aceptan el juego parlamentario porque saben que la accion directa y la auto organizacion que hacen que el estado y el capitalismo tiemblen, sigue y seguira activa.
Por esto, demandamos que:
1) Todos los arrestados sean liberados
2) Todos los cargos sean retirados
3) La persecucion de activistas politicos tiene
