End the captivity of fighter-prisoner S.Stratoulis, on hunger strike since November 11th 2013
Sp.Stratoulis is incarcerated in prison since he was 17 years old. (for 21 years now). In this time he gained a political conscience and developed militant action, participating in mobilizations, hunger strikes, revolts. His consistent attitude bothered the state mechanisms and he paid that price with numerous disciplinary penalties.
During the last two years while receiving leave days from prison he was accused in the case of the Thessaloniki squats, with unsound charges (phone conversations). And while he was not detained for these charges, they deprived him of his days of leave.
On 11/11 he begins his hunger strike:
“I choose this extreme means of struggle to demand the issuing of an exculpatory decree and the renewal of my leave days, calling the Authorities to immediately take a position.”
“I will answer drastically against the vengefulness of the state which is trying to break those who resist against the monopoly of deciding and looting our lives and the indifference of every kind of manikin towards life, freedom and dignity.”

Everyone who fights deserves our solidarity. They deserve it because in the end its attributable. It attributable because with their life attitude they kept and keep alive the example of resistance and dignity. They keep open the paths of freedom for the rest who are coming, to go up against the state and capitalist machine.
