Letter by Stefanos Amilitos from Koridallos prisons
Much has been said and written these last few days. Thus, I find it necessary to clarify some things and that I am ok, physically and psychologically.
In my lengthy course, in which I was again detained about twenty years ago in the revolt of the Polytechnic in 1995, I have met many comrades, people of the Resistance and the Struggle. In this course I have disagreed with many people, but always face to face. Never behind the back and through “representatives”. This is why I believe that my recent injury was not caused by comrades, by people who fight against Authority. The posting of a “responsibility claim” for the attack against me, by “some (anonymous…) prisoners” who vaguely slander me, on webpage of the “new anarchy”, cannot but raise questions and concerns. For many years now, so much indie prison as well as outside, I resist and fight against real enemies -our oppressors, their armed guards and their fascists- and not imaginary. Thus I find it necessary to not contribute further to the polarization and the fragmentation of those who continue to resist and fight. I call for all comrades outside the walls to do the same.
On March 19th 2014 my trial will begin. And this will be the most direct battle I intend to fight with all my strength. There, I hope the set up and unsound indictment against me collapses and with the contribution of Solidarity to be free once again. Free to share my opinions and thoughts more analytical.
P.S. A thank you to all those who continue to support me, a raised fist to those who continue to resist against the state and its dogs, not forgetting for a moment that the aim in the mind.

Molto è stato detto e scritto negli ultimi giorni. Pertanto, credo necessario chiarire alcune cose e dire che io sto bene, fisicamente e psicologicamente.
Nel mio lungo corso, nel quale sono stato arrestato venti anni fa nella rivolta del Politecnico di Atene nel 1995, ho incontrato molti compagni, membri della Resistenza e della Lotta. In questo corso sono stato in disaccordo con tanta gente, ma sempre faccia a faccia. Mai dietro le spalle e attraverso “rappresentanti”. Ecco perché credo che la recente ingiuria fatta a me non è stata causata da compagni, da gente che lotta contro l’Autorità. Il diffondere una “rivendicazione” per l’attacco alla mia persona, da parte di “alcuni (anonimi…) prigionieri” che vagamente mi diffamano, sul sito internet della “nuova anarchia”, non può ma sollevare questioni e dubbi.
Da molti anni, dentro e fuori il carcere, resisto e lotto contro i nemici veri — i nostri oppressori, le loro guardie armate e i loro fascisti — non quelli immaginari. Quindi trovo necessario non contribuire ancora alla polarizzazione e alla frammentazione di chi continua a lottare e resistere. Invito tutti i compagni all’esterno a fare lo stesso.
Il 19 Marzo 2014 inizierà il mio processo. Ed esso sarà la battaglia più diretta che intendo combattere con tutta la mia forza. Li, spero che la montatura fatta a mio carico collassi e di ritornare un’altra volta libero con il sostegno della Solidarietà. Libero di condividere le mie opinioni e i miei pensieri in modo più analitico.
PS: Grazie a tutti quelli che continuano a supportarmi, un pugno alzato a chi continua a resistere contro lo stato e i suoi cani, senza dimenticare neanche per un momento il fine.
