March 2014 will see the first ever Anarchist Bookfair to be held in Sydney.

Organised in association with Jura Books and Black Rose, the Sydney Anarchist Bookfair is a non-profit event that will be held on the 22 March 2014 at the Addison Rd Community Centre (map below), on the land of the Cadigal people of the Eora Nation, land over which sovereignty was never ceded.

The Sydney Anarchist Bookfair is a chance to find out about and discuss libertarian ideas, attend workshops and hear speeches on anarchist history and politics, discover new, local campaigns on wide range of issues, and of
course, buy books.

Stalls on the day will include zine producers, radical t shirt designers, anarchist groups, and various campaigns distributing free information on everything from community gardens to indigenous rights. Several keynote speakers will discuss various topics in our speaker’s corner, held in the garden outside the main hall, and several workshops will be held throughout the day on anarchist politics.

The event will be free to attend and info on stalls, workshops, childcare etc will be up soon. Also details for the after party will be made available through this site.

Disabled access available. No dogs except guide dogs allowed in Gumbramorra Hall.
