On Saturday 14 November 2015, anarchists and communists from Antifascist – Anti-authoritarian Social Center “Distomo” and “Red Line” Collective, organized a motorbike patrol in Athens City Center, as part of direct actions taking place for the 1st year since the opening of Antifa Social Center “Distomo” inside an area of Athens, that until recently predominantly supported the neonazi “Golden Dawn” party in Greece.

The antifa social center in Agios Panteleimonas, Athens is called “Distomo” after the massacre of 10 June 1944 in the greek village where the Waffen-SS, for over two hours, went door to door and massacred Greek civilians, as part of a ‘retaliation measure’ for a partisan attack upon the unit. A total of 214 men, women and children were massacred in Distomo.
