Last night a few hundred people clashed with the cops in Exarcheia ahead of the December 6th anniversary. A group of people attacked the riot police in the streets around the Polytechnic University with rocks, flares and molotovs. The clashes, which ran on for sometime, ended with seven arrested and two cops injured.
The night before a number of unclaimed incidents took place around the centre of Athens. The house of a former Pasok minister was hit with a minor bomb blast which caused some damage and resulted in no injuries. A little before the culture ministry was hit with molotovs.
On Sunday December 6th there are calls for demonstrations across Greece on the anniversary of the murder of Alexis Grigoropoulos. In Athens the demonstrations will begin at 2pm and 5pm.
