AMED – The co-chairs of the DTK, HDP, DBP, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and other municipalities and representatives started vigil in Melikahmet neighborhood of Sur. The police attacked them.

The police attacked the co-chairs of the DTK, HDP, DBP, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and other municipalities and representatives who started vigil in Melikahmet neighborhood of Sur district of Diyarbakır. After funeral ceremony of Serhat Doğan, the mass went to join the co-chairs in Melikahmet. The police attacked the mass with tear gas, water cannon.

The attacks from two sides to Dargeçit: People face with massacre

MÊRDÎN – Dargeçit DBP District Organization made a statement. In the statement was indicated that the intensive attacks from both sides has been launched towards the Safa neighborhood. Our people in this neighborhood are faced with the massacre.

The attacks are became violent in 14 days of curfew in Dargeçit district of Mardin. Dargeçit DBP district organisation made a statement regarding the attacks.According the statement, tens of armoured vehicles have been launched the attacks towards Safa neighborhood since morning. The statement was pointed out that the citizens are faced with the massacre in Safa. They said, “All citizens are faced with the massacre. Even an hour later may be too late. Today all the Kurdish people who have honour must stand up against the attacks.”

İZMİR- The death toll rose to 18, including six children when the people went to the island of Lesbos in Greece from Dikili with a wooden boat. The migrants boat sank off the Turkish coast in the Aegean Sea.

The immigrants tried to go Lesbon island of Greece from Dikili with a wooden boat. The wooden boat capsized near Bademli village of Dikili district of İzmir. After picking up the distress calls, the Coast Guard crews launched a search and rescue operation. The bodies of eight people were withdrew from the sea. The number of corpses were taken from the sea rose to 18. The authorities informed that 21 have been rescued, the missing 2 people have been searched.

42 people have lost their life in three days as result of sinking of the boats in the Aegean Sea.

Attacks with real bullets to the march in Diyarbakır

AMED – After the funeral ceremony of Serhat Doğan who was killed in Sur was not allowed, the mass started to march. The police attacked the mass with real bullets, tear gas and water cannon.

The curfew has been imposed in Sur for 23 days. Serhat Doğan was killed during the curfew. Serhat’s body was taken from Gazi Yaşargil Education and Research Hospital. Hundreds of people who gathered in Koşuyolu Park began to march towards Bağlar district of Diyarbakır after the funeral ceremony was not allowed. The mass shouted the slogans such as ‘Martyrs are immortal’, ‘The PKK is people, people are here’ and ‘Viva the resistance of Sur’. The police attacked the mass on the road of İskan Evleri. The police attacked the mass with real bullets,tear gas and water cannon. The police began to detain the people.

One more citizen killed in Cizre

AMED – The attacks have been continued since last night in Cizre. Ferdi Kalkan lost his life in cudi neighborhood of Cizre.

The curfew has been imposed for 11 days in Cizre. The attacks were lasted during last night. Many houses burned because of artillery shootings. It was learned that Ferdi Kalkan(about 20)lost his life in Cudi neighborhood of Cizre district of Şırnak.
