Joining the call for solidarity with the Lleida 3, anarchist prisoner Juankar Santana Martín will be on hunger strike on 24th, 25th and 26th April.
On 26th April a trial will take place in Lleida against the 3 comrades accused of repeatedly obstructing the course of justice and threating a jailer; the Public Prosecutor has demanded 4 years in prison for two people and three years for another plus a 18,000-euro fine.
The charges relate to a demo organized by the prisoners in struggle support group in Ponent outside the court, one of the many protests carried out by prisoners and people in solidarity to denounce torture perpetrated in the State’s prisons and in solidarity with Juankar Santana, who was on trial on those days as he, as others, continued the protests within the campaign PRISON=TORTURE (http://www.alasbarricadas.org/noticias/node/35899).
Therefore Juankar Santana has publicly announced that he would be on hunger strike for three days in solidarity with the 3 comrades from Lleida.
