“We have to sabotage the implementation of the Third Memorandum”
Q: What are the reasons, in your opinion, for the decline in the level of social resistance and struggles against capitalist restructuring and austerity measures and how can we get out of this impasse? What should be the strategy in the anarchist space currently?
A: The cause of the lessening of social resistance is precisely that it had and continues to have a defensive character in face of the unprecedented onslaught of capital and the state after 2010. The capitalist machine has been malfunctioning since 2008, neither finding profitable investments for pumping out ever greater profits nor capital to offset its losses, so it attacks social gains and the working class. And it attacks social security, salaries and pensions, it confiscates property due to debts, reduces labor costs, and seizes public property through privatization.

Saluto i compagni partecipanti alla conferenza annuale dell’SRI.
I compagni greci che prendono parte per la prima volta a questa conferenza sono membri della Assemblea di solidarietà per i prigionieri politici greci e sicuramente vi informeranno sulla situazione in Grecia riguardo ai prigionieri politici e in generale sulla situazione politica. Da parte mia vi dico dei fatti accaduti recentemente. Il 21 febbraio, la compagna ricercata Pola Roupa, su quale è stata posta una taglia, ha tentato di dirottare un elicottero per far evadere me e altri prigionieri politici condannati per lotta armata dalla prigione di Koridallos. Purtroppo l’evasione non è riuscita per la reazione del pilota, risultato essere un ex-poliziotto, pure armato. Per fortuna la compagna è riuscita ad uscirne salva e incolume. In seguito a ciò sono state accresciute le misure di sicurezza nel braccio dove siamo detenuti. La compagna Pola Roupa ed io così come altri prigionieri politici hanno assunto la responsabilità politica per questo tentativo con pubblici comunicati.

This act is a minimal respond to the convictions of our comrades, Nikos
Maziotis, Adonis Staboulos and Giorgos Petrakakos, from the special
court of Koridallos. The exterminating sentences imposed on them have a
double purpose, on one side breaking the fighting morale of our comrades
and on the other to terrorize parts of the movement who act or think of
acting outside the framework of bourgeois legality.
In the current juncture where parts of the movement defend their
structures with all means against the “legal” and “illegal” capital, the
initial intentions of the regime have already fallen on deaf ears. We
continue and organize in unions, solidarity structures, collectives,
direct action groups for the defending of the interests of our class.
