Con las convicciones intactas
Hace tres años atrás, el Poder golpeó con su brazo legal a algunxs compañerxs antiautoritarixs, buscando dar lecciones represivas a un entorno anárquico difuso.
Esta cruzada llamada “Operaciòn Salamandra”, se enmarcaba en la investigación del mediático Caso Bombas, que perseguía identificar y detener a quienes perpetraban ataques explosivos contra símbolos del poder.
El 14 de Agosto de 2010 son allanados diversos domicilios particulares y Centros Sociales Okupados. Durante la madrugada se detiene a 14 personas, en medio de un ostentoso despliegue policial dispuesto especialmente para la prensa. Los cuchillos estaban afilados y relucían frente a las cámaras.
Lxs detenidxs fueron presentadxs como responsables directxs de los ataques explosivos y se lxs apuntó como integrantes de una asociación ilícita terrorista, con cargos y roles delimitados.
La policía, con la vocerìa y complicidad de las empresas comunicacionales, se empeñó durante años en señalar a las okupaciones como puntos que agruparían a lxs desconocidxs autores de los bombazos. La tesis investigativa sentenció desde un inicio que las okupaciones eran responsables de los ataques explosivos, incluso acusando a algunas de ser “simples fachadas de bibliotecas” en un torpe intento de pisotear la labor que algunos espacios okupados desarrollaban hace ya varios años.
Aquella madrugada algunxs de nosotrxs fuimos detenidxs, otrxs recibieron la represión y también existió quien tuvo que enfrentar la clandestinidad. Nuestro colectivo y nuestros proyectos de difusión de ideas/prácticas antiautoritarias fueron atacados.
Nuestro espacio, el Centro Social Okupado y Biblioteca Sacco y Vanzetti fue clausurado y parte de nuestra Biblioteca secuestrada por la policía y saqueada por diversas manos.
Tras 9 meses de prisión se logró la salida a la calle de lxs compañerxs y tras 6 meses de juicio se obtuvo la absolución de todos los cargos.
Ese Agosto de 2010 rieron los poderosos y el eco de esa risa buscó imponerse. Ese agosto fue el punto culmine de una grosera campaña mediática/policial que perseguía nuestro aislamiento, nuestra detención, pero más importante aún, perseguía nuestra derrota, que serviría a su vez para propagar un sentimiento de fracaso y rendición frente al Poder.
Pero nosotrxs no somos el lamento de lo que pudimos haber sido, no somos el relato nostálgico de un tiempo pasado que fue mejor, somos fuerza viva contra toda forma de dominación.
Somos parte de una lucha histórica contra el Poder y seguimos decididxs a que nuestra historia se escribe con nuestros gestos de lucha y no con las jugadas represivas que intenten amedrentarnos. Nuestra vida se define por nuestras convicciones y compromisos, no por los golpes que podamos recibir.
Este 14 de Agosto, escribimos un nuevo párrafo en el libro de nuestro compromiso de lucha, nuestra tinta continúa siendo negra y tiene la moral en alto, porque jamás negó ni sus ideas, ni sus lazos, ni compromisos.
Este agosto volvemos a abrir las puertas de un nuevo espacio, esta vez un local arrendado, empeñadxs en que la fuerza se encuentra en los proyectos y no en las casas que puedan albergarlos. Así le damos vida a nuestras convicciones con el mismo ánimo de siempre, el de generar intercambio y colectivización de libros, experiencias y conocimiento antiautoritario.
La Biblioteca Antiutoritaria Sacco y Vanzetti ya está funcionando nuevamente y solo requiere del compromiso solidario y el interés de lxs compañerxs, entendiendo que los libros no son un fetiche y que su aporte radica en que sean leídos y nutran la perspectiva de lucha de cada compañerx.
Lxs invitamos a que apoyen las iniciativas antiautoritarias, a que solidaricen con las bibliotecas afines e incentivamos a la donación de material escrito o cualquier otro material que aporte al desarrollo y esparcimiento de las ideas que niegan desde la práctica cualquier autoridad.
Por nuestros muertxs, nuestrxs prisionerxs y perseguidxs, nuestra lucha también va por ustedes.

Three years ago, Power struck with its legal arm at some anti-authoritarian compañerxs, seeking to give repressive lessons to a diffuse anarchist space.
This crusade, called “Operation Salamandra,” was framed in the investigation of the Bombs Case, which sought to identify and arrest those who perpetrated explosive attacks against symbols of power.
On August 14, 2010, various particular homes and Occupied Social Centers were raided. During the early hours of the day 14 people were arrested amidst an ostentatious police display deployed especially for the press. The knives were sharpened and they gleamed in front of the cameras.
The arrestees were presented as directly responsible for the explosive attacks and pointed to as members of an illegal terrorist association, with delimited responsibilities and roles.
The police, with the spokemanship and complicity of the communications businesses, stubbornly pointed for years to the squats as the meeting points of the unknown authors of the bombings. The investigative thesis declared from the beginning that the squats were responsible for the explosive attacks, even accusing some of being “mere facades of libraries” in a clumsy attempt to trample over the work that some occupied spaces have developed for several years.
That morning some of us were arrested, others received the repression and one also had to confront clandestinity. Our collective and our projects of the diffusion of anti-authoritarian ideas/practices were attacked.
Our space, the Sacco and Vanzetti Occupied Social Center and Library, was closed and part of our Library seized by the police and looted by various hands. After 9 months of prison the release of the compañerxs into the street was accomplished and after 6 months of trial the absolution of all the charges was achieved.
That August of 2010 the powerful laughed and the echo of that laugh sought to impose itself. That August was the peak of a gross media-police campaign that pursued our isolation, our arrest, but more importantly still, it pursued our defeat, that would serve in turn to spread a feeling of failure and surrender before Power.
But we are not the lament of what we could have been, we are not the nostalgic tale of a past time that was better, we are living force against every form of domination.
We are part of an historic struggle against Power and we remain decided that our history be written with our gestures of struggle and not with the repressive tricks that try to frighten us. Our live is defined by our convictions and commitments, not by the blows we are able to take.
This August 14, we write a new paragraph in the book of our commitment of struggle, our ink remains black and high in spirits, because it never denied its ideas, its bonds, or its commitments.
This August we will open again the doors of a new space, this time in a rented location, determined that our energy be focused on the projects and not on the houses that are able to host them. In this way we give life to our commitments with the same spirit as ever, the spirit of generating an exchange and collectivization of anti-authoritarian books, experiences, and knowledge.
The Sacco and Vanzetti Anti-authoritarian Library is already functioning again and it only requires the commitment of solidarity and the interest of our compañerxs, understanding that books are not a fetish and that their contribution is rooted in their being read and nourishing each compañerx‘s perspective of struggle.
We invite those who support anti-authoritarian initiatives to act in solidarity with the libraries you have affinity with and we encourage the donation of written material or any other kind of material that contributes to the development and spread of the ideas that negate in practice any authority.
For our dead, our prisoners and persecuted, our struggle also goes out to you.
