After the standard reading of the absent book for advocates of defence and prosecution, advocate A.Paparousou asked to speak in order to make a statement concerning her client A.D.Bourzoukos. Her client, besides the case on trial, is accused of acts that took place in 2012 in which he had no implication and a second arrest warrant was put out in his name. In this are mentioned the acts for which he is accused and are the same as the ones examined in the case on trial. This is a practise which is applied by the anti-terrorist force in the recent years, noted the advocate.

The present comrades A.Dalios and A.D.Bourzoukos, when asked by the chairman if they want to make a statement, answered that they have made their position public already. After the statements of advocates Paparousou and Fitrakis, A.D.Bourzoukos made a statement, in which he said that he denies all charges against him, and added that in his value world the robbery of a bank is moment of struggle, while for the judges its a crime, just like his anarchist ideas, and that judges are a piece of an oppressive mechanism which functions ruthlessly, fabricates charges many times or just blows them out of proportion, according to orders of the anti-terrorist force. “As long as there are people like you, there will be also those who will fight for the subversion and the destruction of the system you serve”, he concluded.

After the examination of a “weird” witness by the judges and advocates, the comrades Harisis, Dalios and Bourzoukos made many questions. The witness gave a cocktail of contradictory answers, among which were two important lies: that allegedly he recognized Mihailidis from the eyes (which were swollen because of the vicious beating and therefore closed) and that he was not pressured by the cops to recognize him!!

These answers were the last drop of patience of the comrades, who had to remind him that his attitude is that of a snitch. The witness’s answer about Mihailidis eyes caused the reaction of his mother who was in the room. His mother reminded, that because of the beating her son took at the police station, when they brought him to athens in shackles, she herself could not recognize him.

The trial will continue on Tuesday February 4th, with the examination of prosecution witnesses.
