On Friday, March 14, 2014, the martial court of the total objector of army Michalis Tolis will be conducted. The trial will take place at Rouf / Athens and is the number 1 trial of the day.
The comrade is a member of our collective “Barefoot Battalion” (Ksipolito Tagma), he is unsubmissive from the 4th of May 2011 and he has made public the reasons of denying to enlist by a collective text along with 3 other total objectors from Ioannina and Thessaloniki, which was handed over to the recruit office of Ioannina. For his choise to deny the army, a penalty of 6000 euros has been enforced by the tax office in charge, while he was arrested in flagrante delicto on 3rd of June 2013. After two days in the cells of a prison in Athens, he was set free indefinitely, until the trial day. The trial was initially set at 23 of January 2014, but it was postponed for 14 of March 2014.
We consider this trial important for two reasons:

The trial is a result of the in flagrante delictum procedure, an extremely vindictive practice by the military state, who intends by this way to intercept future draft evaders.
On our behalf we will start immediately a large campaign in order to make public the trial of the military court, by calling on assemblage outside of Rouf and by organizing acts for financial support of the judicial expenses.

Greece: Collective statement of total objectors of military service – Deliverd at the conscription office of Ioannina – 17/02/14
On Monday morning 17/02/201
4, a few dozen comrades supported an anti-militarist intervention by symbolically handing over to the military staff of the conscription office of Ioannina the following collective statement of total refusal to military service. Amid slogans and some bickering between antimilitary comrades and military staff (they would obviously prefer us to be mute and stand in salute…), we expressed our solidarity to M. Toli a conscription objector whose trial is on Friday 14/3 in Athens. The banners we hung at the entrance to the conscription office and the very act of publicizing another new collective statement of conscription objectors, spreads our message in practice: The more they repress us, the more stubborn we get, the more total objectors are persecuted, new ones will spring up taking the torch of refusal to enlistment.
Continuing the publicity actions for the collective statement of total conscription objectors, on Tuesday 18/02/2014 a counterinformation intervention took place where we distributed hundreds of copies of the statement:
We kept no faith for no homeland, like we do not kiss no asses. No obedience to any Constitution, law or resolution of any State when its interests are opposed to ours, of our under development communities and of our class. No obedience to our ‘superiors’. We will not perform willingly and without response (not even oxen do that) any of their orders.
We will not defend, neither with dedication nor willingly, not even with indolence, no flag under which the members and applauders of the bourgeoisie have taken advantage, oppressed, murdered, raped and publicly humiliated tens of thousands of our brothers and sisters, proletarian militants or civilians at home and abroad, either on the battlefields or in everyday social battles in neighborhoods, streets and workplaces.
As for the last drop of our blood (like the first and the second and third …)we will keep it in our veins, so they hit hard for us to live, enjoy, pity, fight for our collective revaluation, to love, and to hate those who deserve it (you for example). Therefore, we will not safeguard neither “precisely” nor in any other way the military laws, but we fight for the elimination of the them, their lawmakers, the State and the bosses.
In a few words:”we won’t do time!”
