Maroussi, Athens: Antifascists go on the offensive
Today (May 10th, 2014), 25 to 30 Golden Dawn’s people were distributing electioneering material in the centre of Maroussi (northern suburb of Athens). They passed from central streets of the district, until they reached the open-air market where they were met with an unpleasant surprise. A group of 12 antifascists moved against them, and the fascists started to run like rabbits, scared by the sound of antifascist slogans alone, leaving behind three of their fellow militants who were treated accordingly by the antifascist group. After this the comrades left the place in a coordinated manner.

Greece: Antifascist and anti-election action in Kavala

A group of comrades carried out an antifascist and anti-election intervention, sharing out texts in an open-air market and the city centre of Kavala. Shortly afterwards, they became aware of the presence of Goldendawners nearby. Some 20 comrades approached the fascists, started to boo them, chanted antifascist slogans, and also gave them a few slaps. The fascist scum literally hid themselves inside the police station (located only 50 meters away from the place where the confrontation occurred), where the cops harboured them. Later on, the Nazis tried to return to the Golden Dawn’s offices escorted by police forces, but the comrades blocked their way, so they had to slip into the police station once again, together with their voters in uniform. People have remained alert to the presence of fascists in neighbourhoods.
Neither in Kavala, nor anywhere. Bash the fash, everywhere.
Athens: Antifascists arrested after scuffle in Nea Smyrni
The anarchist collective “Vogliamo Tutto e per tutti” reported that on Saturday, May 10th, 2014, at midday, a scuffle took place in the square of Nea Smyrni between antifascists and a local fascist, who was carrying and used two pepper sprays. Cops appeared on the scene during the clash and, at the suggestion of the whiny fascist, arrested three comrades who hang out in the square and are known for their antifascist activity. The three comrades, as well as the fascist involved in the incident, are expected to be brought before prosecutor on Sunday morning in Athens court on Evelpidon Street.

Athens: ‘How and why we smashed up the “Greek Dawn” electoral offices in Alimos’
In the early hours of Wednesday, May 7th, 2014, we attacked offices rent by the Golden Dawn party for its combined list of candidates named “Greek Dawn for Alimos” ahead of municipal elections. We approached the offices located in Dodekanisou Street, and after smashing the glass facade, we threw paint inside in an attempt to make them as “beautiful” as possible.
By carrying out this direct action we declare in every direction that the murderers of Pavlos Fyssas, the descendants of the Organization X and the Security Battalions, the retinues of cops, those who get nocturnal emission from Hitler, Mussolini and Metaxas, and rejoice in totalitarianisms, Dachaus and Auschwitzes, will face an insuperable obstacle with every step they take: decisive people will constantly stand in their way and strike them at any cost, by all forces and means available. So, we strike the misanthropic fascists everywhere: in the streets, the squares, the schools, the demonstrations, the stadiums, the workplaces, not leaving them an inch of space.
No freedom to the enemies of freedom.

Piraeus: Fascist assault on Pasamontaña hangout, in central Koridallos
On Saturday, May 10th, 2014, at least 50 fascists from the Golden Dawn party made their appearance in the neighbourhoods of Nikaia and Koridallos, and later stormed the self-managed social space Pasamontaña. The fascists tried to invade the hangout, but 5 comrades (women/men) repelled the attack with fire extinguishers. Immediately afterwards an antifascist demonstration was called for 2pm in Koridallos, with protesters gathering outside Pasamontaña, located in 23, Dimitrakopoulou Street.
