On 10/11, anarchist Nikos Romanos, imprisoned in Korydallos prison, convicted for the double robbery in Velvedo Kozani, member of FAI and awaiting trial for 4 incendiary attacks (he has claimed responsibility of 3 of them) started a hunger strike demanding the granting of the educational prison leaves he is entitled to as a university student in Athens. His anarchist comrades Giannis Mihailidis, Dimitris Politis and Andreas Bourzoukos also went on a hunger strike as a sign of solidarity with Nikos, on 17/11 and 2/12. This move initiated a wide and multi-form solidarity movement for Nikos. The hunger strike was ended on 11/12.
