The moment the following words were written, we’re on the 25th day of hunger strike, for the liberation of Christos and Gerasimos Tsakalos’ mother, as well as the second one’s girlfriend.
The pre-trial detention of our two comrades’ relatives was an act of revenge by the judicial power against us, in retaliation for the escape we had prepared, with the bombing of the prison.
Now, reaching a tipping point between life and death, we want to share some thoughts with brothers and sisters, accomplices, comrades and anarchists all over the world. Of course, we know that upgrades of repression does not occur only in the Greek territory. It has already been applied in several countries, wishing to avenge anarchist deniers of the existent. Recently, in Chile, cops wanted to implicate the mother of the comrade Juan Aliste (“Security” Case) to a case of escape attempt of her son and his comrades. Moreover, in Spain, through Operation “Pandora”, when comrades from the friendship circle of anarchist prisoner Monica Caballero were targeted, while relatives of the anarchist Tamara Sol, in Chile, during their visit in prison, suffered the revengeful sadistic “care” of the penal officers who wanted to inflict humiliating body searches on them.
These attacks against relatives and friends of the anarchist prisoners seek to form an impassable moat of isolation around us. What the arrests, the verdicts and the prison bars failed to achieve, the emotional blackmail and the locking up of our beloved ones in the cells of democracy comes to accomplish. The blackmail is clear: we either make truce, or our relatives remain in prison. We’re not going to sign any paper of repentance nor capitulate with power. We remain unrepentant anarchists and every day power keeps our people as hostages, the wolf of negation and attack festers more and more inside us…
We know that several comrades around the world, with whom we are connected through the complicity of the anarchist action, feel numb towards the choice of hunger strike. As some close comrades from Croatia wrote to us, hunger strike, posing demands on power, in some sense, acknowledges it when asks for their satisfaction. Somebody else could say the hunger strike looks like a reliance on emotions, which nourishes the traders of hope and humanism to play political games on our backs. We understand some concerns related to the method of the hunger strike as, in the past, we have shared them with each other. Besides, in several cases when we experienced the revengefulness of power upon us, we chose to act in a different way and not by hunger strike. To put it simply: to war, we answer back with war. Because our choice is always the attack. But now we’re not talking about ourselves. The hostages in prison are our relatives now. This is why we chose a hunger strike, to publicly expose the ugliness and morbidity of power. We are on the 25th day of hunger strike already and we don’t recognise a millimeter of donated ground by power to us. Besides, we are aware that freedom is conquered through the violence of our own actions and won’t be given away by its laws. But our relatives do not share the war we have declared against power, so they won’t share our imprisonment. This is why we demand their immediate release from the cells of democracy.
We know that hunger strike is a slow death. But it is not our death. It is the death of a society that remains dormant and quiet towards the fascism of power. We, therefore, take the responsibility to expose it further… This is why the hunger strike we’re on, is not a passive attitude, but a scream of attack that becomes praxis through the acts of solidarity. It is a scream of attack that meets with thousands of voices in demos, with hundreds of hands that vandalize walls with slogans of solidarity, that hang banners, squat buildings, radio stations, government offices, and set a thousand fires to banks, state vehicles, political parties’ offices, courts, in Greece, Italy, Chile, Mexico, Argentina, Czech, Spain, UK, Turkey and the soils of Kurdistan in battle. So, the hunger strike, when connected with actions of attack, is not a plea for pity, but a call for action. This is why we call, from today, the hunger strike we’re on to become a wager for the people of anarchy, for the Black International of the anarchists of praxis, for the FAI/IRF cells, for the comrades, for everyone who chooses to attack against the order, the quiet and the laws of this world and its civilization. From today, through the attacks all over the world, let us put forward the dilemma: either with anarchy, or with power.
Because, on the background of the hunger strike for the release of the CCF comrades’ relatives, in fact, two different worlds are competing: on the one hand, the world of power, order, regularity, law, judges, prisons and, on the other hand, the world of revolt, that of the streets, fire, freedom, anarchy…

Mentre stiamo scrivendo queste parole siamo al 25 ° giorno di sciopero della fame, per la liberazione della madre di Christos e Gerasimos Tsakalos, come della ragazza del secondo.
La carcerazione preventiva dei parenti dei nostri due compagni è stata un atto di vendetta da parte del potere giudiziario contro di noi, come rappresaglia per la fuga che avevamo preparato, con l’attacco con bombe alla prigione.
Ora, giungendo ad un punto di svolta tra la vita e la morte, vogliamo condividere alcuni pensieri con fratelli e sorelle, complici, compagni e gli anarchici di tutto il mondo. Naturalmente, sappiamo che gli aggiornamenti della repressione non si verificano solo nel territorio greco. E ‘già stato applicato in diversi paesi, volendo vendicarsi degli anarchici che negano l’esistente. Recentemente, in Cile, i poliziotti hanno voluto coinvolgere la madre del compagno Juan Aliste (Caso” Security”) per un caso di tentativo di fuga del figlio e dei suoi compagni. Inoltre, in Spagna, attraverso l’operazione “Pandora”, quando i compagni del circolo di amici della prigioniera anarchica Monica Caballero sono stati presi di mira, quando i parenti dell’ anarchica Tamara Sol, in Cile, durante una visita in carcere, hanno subito la vendicativa “attenzione” sadica dei funzionari penali che volevano infliggere umilianti perquisizioni corporali su di loro.
Questi attacchi contro parenti e amici dei prigionieri anarchici cercano di formare un fossato invalicabile di isolamento attorno a noi. Quello che gli arresti, le sentenze e le sbarre della prigione non sono riusciti ad ottenere, il ricatto emotivo e la chiusura di nostri cari nelle celle della democrazia cercano di realizzare. Il ricatto è chiaro: o diamo tregua, o i nostri parenti restano in carcere. Non stiamo andando a firmare alcuna carta di pentimento né capitolazione con il potere. Rimaniamo anarchici impenitenti ed ogni giorno in cui il potere prende la nostra gente come ostaggi, il lupo della negazione e dell’ attacco si radicaa sempre più dentro di noi …
Sappiamo che alcuni compagni di tutto il mondo, con i quali siamo collegati attraverso la complicità dell’azione anarchica, sono perplessi verso la scelta dello sciopero della fame. Come alcuni compagni vicini dalla Croazia ci hanno scritto, lo sciopero della fame, facendo richieste al potere, in un certo senso,lo riconosce quando gli chiede soddisfazione. Qualcun altro potrebbe dire lo sciopero della fame sembra un affidamento alle emozioni, che nutre i commercianti di speranza e dell’umanesimo per giocare giochi politici sulle nostre spalle. Capiamo alcune preoccupazioni legate al metodo dello sciopero della fame, come, in passato, le abbiamo condivise con altri. Inoltre, in molti casi in cui abbiamo sperimentato la vendetta del potere su di noi, abbiamo scelto di agire in modo diverso e non attraverso lo sciopero della fame. Per dirla semplicemente: alla guerra, noi rispondiamo con la guerra. Perché la nostra scelta è sempre l’attacco. Ma ora non stiamo parlando di noi stessi. Gli ostaggi in carcere sono i nostri parenti ora. Questo è il motivo per cui abbiamo scelto uno sciopero della fame, per esporre pubblicamente la bruttezza e la morbosità del potere. Siamo al 25 ° giorno di sciopero della fame già e non riconosciamo un millimetro di terreno concesso dal potere a noi. Inoltre, siamo consapevoli che la libertà si conquista attraverso la violenza delle nostre azioni e non sarà data dalle loro leggi. Ma i nostri parenti non condividono la guerra che abbiamo dichiarato contro il potere, così non devono condividere la nostra prigionia. Questo è il motivo per cui chiediamo il loro immediato rilascio dalle celle della democrazia.
Sappiamo che lo sciopero della fame è una morte lenta. Ma non è la nostra morte. E ‘la morte di una società che rimane dormiente e tranquilla verso il fascismo del potere. Noi, pertanto, ci prendiamo la responsabilità di esporlo ulteriormente … Questo è il motivo per cui lo sciopero della fame che stiamo portando avanti, non è un atteggiamento passivo, ma un urlo di attacco che diventa prassi attraverso le azioni di solidarietà. E ‘un grido di attacco che si incontra con migliaia di voci nelle manifestazioni, con le centinaia di mani che vandalizzano i muri con slogan di solidarietà, che appendono striscioni, occupano edifici, stazioni radio, uffici governativi, e danno fuoco a banche, veicoli statali , agli uffici dei partiti politici, giudici, in Grecia, Italia, Cile, Messico, Argentina, Repubblica Ceca, Spagna, Regno Unito, Turchia e nei terreni del Kurdistan in battaglia. Quindi, lo sciopero della fame, quando si è connessi con le azioni di attacco, non è una richiesta di pietà, ma un invito ad agire. Per questo chiamiamo, da oggi, lo sciopero della fame in cui siamo impegnati, a diventare una scommessa per il popolo dell’ anarchia, per l’Internazionale nera degli anarchici di prassi, per le cellule FAI / IRF, per i compagni, per tutti coloro che scelgono di attaccare l’ordine, la tranquillità e le leggi di questo mondo e la sua civiltà. Da oggi, attraverso gli attacchi in tutto il mondo, poniamo il dilemma: o con l’anarchia, o con il potere.
Perché, sullo sfondo dello sciopero della fame per la liberazione dei parenti dei compagni della CCF ,di fatto due mondi diversi sono in competizione: da un lato, il mondo del potere, l’ordine, la regolarità, la legge, giudici, prigioni e, dall’altra parte, il mondo della rivolta, quella della strada, il fuoco, la libertà, l’anarchia …
