An “anti-repression” demonstration brought together nearly 500 people this Saturday, June 13, 2015 [1] in Barcelona under the slogan “if they attack us for our struggles, we will respond with struggle,” it was called in solidarity with incarcerated and persecuted comrades following operations ‘Piñata’ (two are still detained, three others released under judicial control) and ‘Pandora’ and more generally against the repression of squats, and those who struggle against the state and this society [2].

In the demo, we could read on two banners: “!Neither gagged nor domesticated, we continue to struggle” and “Repression likes us isolated, solidarity makes us strong” while resonating in the streets were chants of “Freedom! Freedom!”. Present in large numbers, the agents of the anti-riot police Mossos d’Esquadra wanted to control and file the participants at the level of the Plaza de Sants. The response to this repressive strike was immediate in the streets of the Sants and Eixample districts: more than twenty demonstrators destroyed the windows of bank and real estate agencies, shops (including a beauty salon), a bus shelter, three car dealerships (including those of ‘Peugeot’ and ‘Ford’, where a fire was started).

Encircled (A)s and several slogans were daubed on the shop fronts. The cops of Mossos d’Esquadra managed to divide the demo into two groups and charged the march. Six people were arrested for “degradation of street furniture”. After spending the night in the police station, they will appear before the court on Monday morning. The Catalan police has announced that the investigation was continuing and that further arrests were not excluded in the coming days.

On orders of judge Eloy Velasco and as requested by the Brigada de Información de la Policía Nacional, the Audiencia Nacional blocked the bank accounts that had been opened soon after the arrests of Operation Pandora.

Une manifestation “anti-répression” a réuni près de 500 personnes ce samedi 13 juin 2015 [1] à Barcelone: sous le slogan “s’ils nous attaquent pour nos luttes, répondons par la lutte”, elle était appelée en solidarité avec les compagnons incarcérés et persécutés à la suite des opérations ‘Piñata’ (deux d’entre eux sont toujours incarcérés, trois autres sont sortis sous contrôle judficiaire) et ‘Pandora’ et plus globalement contre la répression envers les squats, ainsi que celles et ceux qui luttent contre l’Etat et cette société [2].

Dans la manif, on pouvait lire sur deux banderoles: “Ni baïllonné-es ni domestiqué-es, continuons de lutter !” et “La répression nous aime isolé-es, la solidarité nous rend forts” tout en entendant résonnés dans les rues les cris de “Liberté ! Liberté !”.

Présents en grand nombre, les agents de la police anti-émeute des Mossos d’Esquadra ont voulu contrôlé et fiché les participant-es au niveau de la plaza de Sants. La réponse à ce coup répressif a été immédiate dans les rues du quartier de Sants et de l’Eixample: plus d’une vingtaine de manifestant-es ont détruit les vitres d’agences bancaires et immobilières, de commerces (dont un salon de beauté), d’un abribus, de trois concessionnaires automobiles (dont ceux de ‘Peugeot’ et ‘Ford’, où il y a eu un départ de feu). Des (A) cerclés et plusieurs slogans ont été tagués sur les façades des commerces.

Les flics des Mossos d’Esquadra ont réussi à scinder le cortège en deux groupes et dissous la marche par une charge.

Six personnes ont été interpellées pour “dégradations de mobilier urbain”. Après avoir passé la nuit au commissariat, elles comparaîtront devant le tribunal lundi matin. La police catalane a annoncé qu’elle continuait l’enquête et que de nouvelles arrestations n’étaient pas à exclure dans les prochains jours.
