The Syriza-ANEL coalition, no matter how hard it tried to convince us that they are the “hope” that is coming, needed less than a year and two election festivities to reveal its real face even to the most naïve. That it is a faithful pillar of the policy of destitution, beggary and death. A policy that transforms the value of human life into numbers that will rejuvenate the international and domestic capital and will give the kiss of life to the capitalist system.
It is obvious that if one more memorandum was enforced by the traditional civil forces (New Democracy-Pasok) would have brought on more massive and intensified social struggles. Contrary to Syriza who incorporated the reformist parts of the movement and completely inactivating them, awaiting the “tough negotiations”. Later bending over to the transnational economic and political elite presenting it as a necessary evil.
The 5year and counting candy of dominant propaganda about stability-development-investments is the modern mafia pimping that is enforced by the powerful ones on the oppressed… This today is transmuted into increase of VAT in basic need products, increased unemployment, initiation of the procedure of collecting the ENFIA (single property tax), further reductions of the low pensions, auctions of houses and privatizations of natural and public goods.
Therefore in this mosaic of paranoia where their world smells like human flesh more than any time before, where hope is washed up somewhere in the Aegean together with the dead bodies of the immigrants, suicides are increasing day by day, where fences are raised and white cells are being built, where snitching becomes a way of life, we consciously chose to abstain. We choose the fire and axe.

A vehicle of the municipal police force next to the city hall of Akrotiri in the early hours of Thursday 5/11.

P.S. As for the comfy and settled lackeys of the Chania labour centre who rushed to condemn the arson of the labor inspectorate, let us remind them that history has the tendency to vomit those who undermine and abuse the labor and emancipatory struggles. So they should shut up for good.
