Greece: New statement from Network of Imprisoned Fighters
During the last few months mobilizations have taken place in Korydallos prison in the form of refusing midday lockdown and delaying evening lockdown, an increase in time spent in the yard in the morning and afternoon, depending of the phase of the struggle. Our demands were to ensure visiting hours for all prisoners without the continuous cancellations with various or at times no excuses at all, the replacement of the outdated electrical installations and the removal of the prison manager because of her authoritarianism. Strength to comrade Panagiotis Aspiotis from Network of Combative Prisoners (DAK) – Greece
On February 6th, anarchist comrade Panagiotis Aspiotis is transferred
from Navplio prisons allegedly to Koridallos prisons. In reality they
transferred him to the isolation section of the metagogon (transfer
detention cells bulding). A bit later it became known that the comrade,
while having his arms tied up behind his back, got attacked by the
cowardly hooded thugs of the anti-terrorist force who seriously injured
him during but also after the reason for their visit which was no more
than to extract a DNA sample. Later the comrade was transferred to the
hospital for exams.
Greece: Tameio-Athens statement on the assault of Panayotis Aspiotis
Today on the 6th of February, our anarchist comrade Panayotis Aspiotis was meant to be transferred from Nauplio Prison to Korydallos for his interrogation on Monday by Eftychis Nicolopoulos. However, he was unexpectedly taken to the removal center on Petrou Ralli street where he was isolated and led to an area with no CCTV. He was vicously attacked by cops in balaclavas of the counter-terrorism unit who attempted to violently take a sample of his DNA. The uniformed pigs hit him on the head and hit him on the ribcage and the rest of his body. Eventually they managed to get a DNA sample during their second attempt since the first time the comrade swallowed the cotton bud they had used. After taking his DNA they continued to hit him in the ribcage for a long time in order to set an example.

Frequenz A: Interview mit einem Anarchisten im Korydallos Gefängnis (Athen) [Englisch]
Im Oktober haben wir ein Interview mit einem anarchistischen Gefangenen geführt, der Teil des Netzwerkes kämpfender Gefangener (DAK) ist. Die Fragen waren unter anderem zu den Verhältnissen in Griechischen Gefängnissen, aktuellen Kämpfen von Gefangenen und die Situation der griechischen Knastgesellschaft.
Das Interview sollte ein “backup” für eine Veranstaltung im Rahmen der Antiautoritären Tage gegen Die Knastgesellschaft vom 08-11.10 in Hamburg sein – für den Fall, dass das Gespräch während der Veranstaltung nicht klappt. (Die Veranstaltung am 08.10 im Centro Sociale konnte jedoch glücklicher weise wie geplant stattfinden und so könnt ihr demnächst hier den Mitschnitt finden, der teilweise andere Themen behandelt, da die Fragen direkt von den Teilnehmer_innen der Veranstaltung kamen und von einem anderen Gefangenen beantwortet wurden.)

Larissa, Greece: Antonis Stamboulos, on hunger strike since 2/3, currently hospitalised
On Friday morning, April 3rd, anarchist prisoner on hunger strike Antonis Stamboulos, participant in the Network of Imprisoned Fighters (DAK), was transferred to the hospital in Larissa, where physicians on duty denied his treatment because he refused to take in intravenous drips. Then the hunger striker was moved back to Larissa prison.

Piraeus: Argyris Ntalios, on hunger strike since 2/3, currently hospitalised
On March 27th, anarchist prisoner on hunger strike Argyris Ntalios – participant in the Network of Imprisoned Fighters (DAK) – was urgently transferred from Koridallos prison to the General State Hospital of Nikaia, as his health condition has worsened.
El 27 de marzo del 2015, el anarquista Argyris Ntalios, participante de la Red de Luchadores Presos (DAK), en huelga de hambre desde el 2 de marzo, fue trasladado desde las prisiones de Koridallos al hopsital Geniko Kratiko de Nikaia.
