Greece: Update on the Occupied Workers Center evicted by the Greek Communist Party in Mytilene

 

As we previously reported, a former labor hire / worker’s center that had been occupied by anti-authoritarians and refugees in Mytilene was violently evicted recently by members of the Greek Communist Party (KKE). The center was being used as temporary housing for refugees and migrants while they waited for their papers to be approved so they could travel to northern Europe and was totally self-managed by refugees and migrants.

Turkish Military, ISIS Terrorists, Simultaneous Attacks Around Kobani (en/ess)

HASAKAH, Rojava (November 10, 2015) — On the 9th of November, combined forces of the People’s Defense Units (YPG) and the Women’s Defense Units (YPJ) started an clearance operation against a group of terrorist elements preparing for attacks near the village Sabi Zilam on the slopes of Mount Kezwan (Abd al-Aziz). The Defense Units managed to target and successfully destroy a vehicle of terrorists, killing 4 terrorist operatives including 2 senior commanders known as Abu Omar and Abu Yousef.

QSD forces take control of the strategic Hawl-Xatuniyê road (en/es)

Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) have taken control of the strategic road between Hawl and Xatuniyê.

In an effort to hinder the advance of QSD forces, ISIS gangs have attempted to attack the emplacements of QSD units near Xatuniyê. The attack was thwarted by QSD units that destroyed a bomb-laden vehicle before it reached the target.
