We anarchists, believe the rights of Kurds and Palestinians are so integral to each other that they should be recognised as one.

Qualsiasi tentative di comprensione della vita cultural e sociale in Kurdistan deve fare i conti con una realta’ di Guerra profondamente diversa da come noialtri anarchici speriamo sia una situazione di rivolta estesa e capillare. Con il potere dei clan familiari, l’ideologia collettivista marxista del partito dei lavoratori kurdi (PKK) e l’onnipresenza della religion islamica, non c’e’ mai stato spazio per la liberta’, l’autonomia e l’azione dell’individuo nella societa’ kurda.

Il ramo di Diyarbakir delle Associazioni della Federazione di Aiuto per le Famiglie dei Prigionieri (TUHAD-FED) ha richiamato l’attenzione sulla situazione dei detenuti malati nelle carceri turche nel quarto giorno della manifestazione di protesta messa in essere venerdì davanti al Carcere Chiuso di Tipo D di Diyarbakir.

In Volume Three of Anarchism: A Documentary History of Libertarian Ideas, I included a section on Kurdish anarchism, which included a 1999 piece by Kurdish anarchists arguing for anarchism as an alternative to a Kurdish state, and a 2011 interview with a Kurdish activist regarding the subsequent development of a “democratic confederalist” movement in Kurdish areas which draws on the ideas of Murray Bookchin.

El Paso: cena e iniziative a sostegno del “Med” Centro Culturale Curdo di Torino (Torino)

Di recente la comunità curda presente in città, ha inaugurato uno spazio per poter organizzare incontri, dibattiti, musica e balli. Giovedì 24 ottobre, a El Paso, siamo lieti di presentare il “Med”, Centro Culturale Curdo di Torino,
con una iniziativa a suo sostegno.

Dalle 19,30 presentazone dell’opuscolo “KNK, sviluppi politici in Kurdistan Occidentale” e proiezione del video “Tra i curdi di Siria”;
ore 21 cena benefit;
ore 22 musica dal vivo e balli della tradizione curda.
