During the night between the 2nd and 3rd of December 2014, shortly after an evening demonstration of thousands of people in central Athens in support of the ongoing struggle of anarchist prisoner Nikos Romanos and the solidarity hunger strike of his captive brothers Yannis Michailidis, Andreas-Dimitris Bourzoukos and Dimitris Politis, large-scale clashes erupted in the Exarchia area. Many protesters were reportedly injured and arrested by police (at least two arrestees were gravely wounded and needed to be hospitalized)

Athens: Gatherings in solidarity with Nikos Romanos and Yannis Michailidis (30/11) en/es/gr
A moto-protest in solidarity with anarchist hunger striker Nikos Romanos, who is hospitalized at the Gennimatas hospital in northern Athens, took place on Sunday afternoon the 30th of November. More than 200 demonstrators drove off from the city centre and made a short stop at Syntagma Square, where families of refugees from Syria – many of whom are also conducting a hunger strike – have camped opposite the Greek parliament for days, demanding to be able to work in Greece but, most importantly, to be allowed to travel to other European countries and get asylum there. The welcoming gestures of refugee protesters towards the motorized demo were an emotional moment of the demo.

Vehicles burnt in solidarity with Nikos Romanos and Rémi Fraisse (UK) en/it
French police have killed Rémi Fraisse while they try to rout a combative forest occupation that prevents the Sivens dam. We have burned a vehicle in the service of the French multinational GDF (who work towards the new nuclear reactor not far away at Hinkley Point on top of other nuclear projects in many countries, force dams on irreplaceable Amazonian indigenous lands with the support of Brazil’s military, provide facility management for the police force in this region, run utilities on the Shetland Islands for one of the biggest oil and gas terminals in Europe, manage multiple French prisons, and all around design technologies which attempt to disguise industrial capitalism as sustainable development for the same banks and commercial entities as always).
