Da lunedì 10 novembre 2104 inizio lo sciopero della fame senza fare neanche un passo indietro, con l’anarchia sempre nel mio cuore.

El anarquista preso Yannis Michailidis anunció hoy, 17 de noviembre de 2014, que los anarquistas arrestados tras el doble atraco en Velventos entran en huelga de hambre rotativa desde las prisiones de Koridallos, como muestra de apoyo a Nikos Romanos, que está en huelga de hambre desde el 10 de noviembre, exigiendo que le concedan las salidas de prisión educativas, a las que tiene derecho desde el septiembre de 2014.

Απεργία πείνας από τον αναρχικό Νίκο Ρωμανό
Την περασμένη άνοιξη ο Νίκος Ρωμανός που βρίσκεται στη φυλακή για απαλλοτρίωση τράπεζας στο Βελβεντό Κοζάνης έδωσε πανελλήνιες εξετάσεις μέσα στη φυλακή και πέρασε σε μια πανεπιστημιακή σχολή στην Αθήνα. Με βάση τους ισχύοντες νόμους τους από τον Σεπτέμβρη δικαιούται να παίρνει εκπαιδευτικές άδειες από τη φυλακή για να παρακολουθεί το πρόγραμμα της σχολής.

Wednesday morning we visited the office of the local organization of Nea Dimokratia in Ampelokipi –between GADA and the Ampelokipi police department- in order our solidarity with the hunger strikers Nikos Romanos and Iraklis Kostaris who assert the educational leaves they should take and are not given by the judicial council of Koridallos prison as well as a judicial understrapper under the name Nikolopoulos, to be heard to the whole territory.

La mañana del 20 de noviembre, onceavo día de su huelga de hambre, el compañero Nikos Romanos fue transferido al “hospital” de las prisiones de Koridallos, tras la recomendación del médico responsable.
El obvio empeoramiento de su salud hizo necesario trasladarlo al hospital, donde se llevaron a cabo nuevos exámenes, antes de devolverlo a su celda.
Fuerza y solidaridad con Nikos Romanos.

A doctor who examined the comrade at Koridallos prison on Tuesday morning, November 18th – during the ninth day of hunger strike – reports that 21-year-old Nikos Romanos has lost 6kg of body weight (nearly 10% of his total body weight) and feels greater fatigue since the last medical examination. He experiences malaise, dizziness, weakness and mild inspiratory dyspnea on exertion, associated with orthostatic hypotension and sinus tachycardia. His blood glucose level (measured by finger stick) was 58.
