En el contexto del evento “Lucha Armada, Movimiento Revolucionario y Revolución Social”, organizado por la Okupa VOX, que se realizó el 17 de octubre en la Escuela Politécnica de Atenas, se había programado una comunicación telefónica con el anarquista Nikos Maziotis, actualmente preso en la cárcel de Diavata. La gendarmería no permitió la realización de la llamada, presentando como excusa una supuesta caída total del servicio de teléfonos en el módulo donde se encuentra Nikos.

Soirée de solidarité avec Nikos Maziotis (Bruxelles)

Ce 23 octobre, nous organiserons une soirée de solidarité avec Nikos Maziotis, prisonnier anarchiste en Grèce, membre de l’organisation “Lutte Révolutionnaire”.

Au programme :
- discussion avec un invité venu de Grèce autour des nouvelles prisons de ’type-C’ et des prisonniers politiques grecs,
- intervention téléphonique de Marco Camenisch (prisonnier anarchiste en Suisse),
- diffusion du documentaire “Entretien avec Lutte Révolutionnaire”,
- infothèque ouverte.

La soirée aura lieu au Pianofabriek (35 rue du Fort, Saint-Gilles) dans la salle Arenberg et commencera à 19h. Venez nombreux !

On Friday 17th, October there was a public political event held in the National Technical University of Athens, from the comrades of the Vox Social Center, on “Armed War, Revolutionary Movement and Social Revolution”, during which I was going to speak through the phone from Diavata prison, as a member of the anarchist organization Revolutionary Struggle.

The appeal court in the 8th January 2001, where I’m on trial again for the bombing attempt against the ministry of Development -an action which I made to express solidarity with the residents of Strymonikos’ villages, who were fighting against the installation of a gold industry by the multinational TVX GOLD- became a military court with summary proceedings similar to those of the State Security Court in Turkey.
