In the night between Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th of November 2013, Nazis sabotaged the Infoshop Iskra (“Spark”) in Zadar. Oppressors smashed the glass windows and mottled the walls with fascist graffiti (“Vukovar”, “Škabrnja”) as well as Ustaša symbols, same as swastikas.
This attack is not a big surprise considering it is the third sabotage on this space in the last two years, and that actually few hours separate us from the anniversary of the fall of Vukovar, when the mind of Croatian nationalists/fascists is at the peak of aggressive irrationality. The first two attacks occurred in August and November 2011, the third one this night, and we hope that a fourth will never happen!
Infoshop Iskra is an initiative for a reading room and library of anarchist and libertarian literature, located in the book club “Knjigozemska” at the address R.K. Jeretova 5 in Zadar. A “Take or Leave” corner and a bicycles repair workshop have also found their place in the same space. The collective itself actively agitates and acts in the field of radical social change built on libertarian grounds.

Zadar, Croacia: Nazis atacaron el ateneo Iskra por tercera vez
La noche del sábado 16 al 17 de noviembre de 2013, unxs nazis sabotearon el ateneo Iskra (“Chispa”) en Zadar. Lxs opresorxs reventaron los ventanales y ensuciaron las paredes con pintadas fascistas, así como simbología Ustaša, como las esvásticas.Este ataque no nos pilla de sorpresa, teniendo en cuenta que es el tercer sabotaje a este espacio en los últimos dos años y, de hecho, nos encontramos a unas horas del aniversario de la caída de Vukovar, cuando la mente de los nacionalistas/fascistas croatas está en el punto álgido de irracionalidad agresiva. Los otros dos ataques tuvieron lugar en agosto y noviembre de 2011, el tercero, anoche y ¡esperamos que no haya un cuarto!
El ateneo Iskra es una iniciativa con una sala de lectura y una biblioteca con literatura anarquista y libertaria, ubicada en el club del libro “Knjigozemska” en R.K. Jeretova 5, Zadar. También tienen espacio aquí una esquina de “Toma o deja” y un taller de reparación de bicis. El colectivo agita activamente y actúa en el campo del cambio social radical sobre bases libertarias.

Zadar (Croazia): Attacco nazi-fascista all’Infoshop Iskra – questo è il terzo
Nella notte tra il sabato e la domenica del 16 novembre 2013 i nazi-fascisti locali hanno attaccato lo spazio anarchico “Infoshop Iskra” (“Scintilla”) a Zadar.
Gli aggressori hanno distrutto tutti i vetri e lasciato scritte sui muri che inneggiano agli ustascia (i nazi-fascisti croati) e alla “guerra patriottica” degli anni Novanta, corredate da una svastica. Comunque, non si tratta di una novità, perché è già il terzo attacco che “Iskra” subisce negli ultimi due anni (i primi due nell’agosto e nel novembre del 2011). Il terzo è avvenuto alla vigilia della commemorazione della “caduta” della città di Vukovar nelle mani dell’esercito serbo, quando le menti dei nazionalisti/fascisti croati sono all’apice della loro irrazionalità aggressiva.
