At around 3.45pm, participants of the ‘Independence March’ attacked Przychodnia social centre. It owes only to our own determination and calmness that we managed to resist the nationalist aggression. A few people were injured but nobody’s life is in danger.
Neo-fascists were prepared to comment on the matter in the media, and immediately informed that it was people from the squat who attacked their march from the roof throwing stones in their direction. It is obvious that this was impossible because the end of Skorupki Street, where the building is located, is around 200 meters from Marszałkowska Street, along which nationalists were marching.
As we can see on a few videos [e.g. i, ii], a paramilitary formation called ‘the Guard of the Independence March,’ whose role was to protect the march, made it possible for the group of a few hundred people to pass, armed and ready to fight. Participants of the Independence March, with flares, bottles and stones in their hands, rushed into Przychodnia.
The nationalists set one car on fire and devastated another one, damaged the building trying to get inside, but fortunately we managed to resist the attack. It was possible only because we had kept watch on the roof (we had been threatened for some time already), and reacted fast to put out flares which fell inside the building.
We want to stress that, despite the fact that the police squads were stationed a few hundred meters from us, it took them 20 minutes to intervene. If we had listened to the police and ignored the danger, the squat would have been burnt down.
The Goebbelsian propaganda of the National Movement is trying to make it appear like an act of hooliganism – despite the fact that it was the officially appointed guard of the march who let the attackers leave the march and helped them evacuate afterwards. At the moment we are getting prepared for another raid; stay alert!

Varsovia, Polonia: Comunicado de la okupa Przychodnia sobre el ataque fascista del 11 de noviembre de 2013
Sobre las 15:45 del 11 de noviembre, algunxs participantes en la “Marcha de la Independencia” atacaron el centro social Przychodnia. Solo gracias a nuestra determinación y calma conseguimos resistir a la agresión nacionalista. Algunas personas resultaron heridas, pero no corre peligro la vida de nadie.
Los neofascistas estaban preparados para comentar sobre el asunto en los medios e, inmediatamente, informaron de que lxs que estaban en la okupa fueron quienes atacaron la marcha desde el tejado lanzándoles piedras. Es obvio que era imposible, porque la calle Skorupki (donde se encuentra el edificio) termina a unos 200 metros de la calle Marszałkowska, por la que marchaban los nacionalistas.
Por lo que se puede ver en algunos vídeos [véase: i, ii], una formación paramilitar llamada “la Guardia de la Marcha de la Independencia”, cuyo papel era proteger la marcha, le facilitó el paso al grupo de cientos de personas, armadxs y listxs para luchar. Lxs participantes de la Marcha de la Independencia, con bengalas, botellas y piedras en la mano, se precipitaron sobre Przychodnia.
Los nacionalistas prendieron fuego a un coche y destrozaron otro, causaron daños en el edificio al intentar entrar, pero por suerte conseguimos resistir el ataque, únicamente, porque habíamos apostado vigilancia en la azotea (ya llevábamos un tiempo siendo amenazadxs) y reaccionamos rápido para sacar las bengalas que caían dentro del edificio.
Queremos recalcar que, a pesar del hecho de que los escuadrones policiales estaban posicionados a un par de cientos de metros, tardaron 20 minutos en intervenir. Si hubiéramos escuchado a la policía e ignorado el peligro, la okupa estaría ahora hecha cenizas.
La propaganda goebbelsiana del Movimiento Nacional esta intentando mostrar esto como un acto de hooliganismo; a pesar del hecho de que la guardia oficial de la marcha había dejado a lxs atacantxs abandonar la marcha y, luego, los ayudó a marcharse. Ahora mismo, nos estamos preparando para otra redada, ¡estad alerta!
