Since he will be moved very soon, his support committee will take care of the books he needs. He will not be able to take the books he receives in jail with him to prison. When he receives a semi-permanent prison address, we will publish his book wishlist.
The Support Committee is also collecting money for Luke’s commissary, postage, and for his eventual release which will be very expensive. Judge Todd Markle has stipulated that Luke be subjected to weekly drug and alcohol tests for the 8 years of his probation. This will be extremely expensive especially if his banishment to Screven County is not rescinded: Screven County is a very, very rural place with almost no feasible places of employment.
