The Second Annual Earth First! Journal Art Auction is coming up fast!

We are asking artists interested in supporting the Earth First! Journal and ecological resistance to consider donating your art to this fundraiser. All money raised supports Earth First! Journal projects.

How the auction works:

We take your original work, post it on our online auction site, sell it to the highest bidder, and use the money to support Earth First! Journal projects.

Do you paint? Sculpt? Draw? Something else? Send us whatever you feel good about, and we’ll do the rest.

The deadline for submissions is November 24, 2014. If you’d like to submit artwork to the auction, please email us at collective [at] earthfirstjournal.org with “Art Auction” in the subject, or call our office at (561) 320-3840. And feel free to contact us if you have questions!

Of course, we also like to use this opportunity to spread the word about radical, environmentally-minded artists fighting for the Earth. Your artwork will be up on the website for thousands to see, and we’d be happy to include links to more of your artwork and personal projects.

Thanks to the amazing artists who donated their work, last year’s art auction raised over $2,000! Let’s see if we can top that this year!

Note: Last year we had some issues with our online bidding system, as well as getting the official EF!J Art Auction posters out to artists and bidders. This year we are using a new bidding system that should fix the bugs from last time, and we have taken steps to correct last year’s mistakes as far as posters go (for example, not having someone hop trains with the box of posters to get them to the office!). We are still in the process of mailing out the final posters from last year, so if you haven’t received one, sorry again! It should be on the way shortly, but feel free to contact us either way.
