The Adelphi Hotel in Blackburn stands accused of hosting neo nazi parties after images sent to EDL News show White Pride, Combat 18 and Blood and Honour flags strewn around the venue.

The event, held on Saturday 13th June, was an engagement party for Shane Calvert, leader of the North West Infidels. Calvert and several of his friends were jailed last year for a violent street attack on a man and his son who were on their way to perform at a gig in Liverpool.

The pub has a long association with hosting events for far right extremist groups.  A new manager, Colin Ennett,  took over the venue in April but it appears that these groups are still welcome.

Admiral Taverns told EDL News that they are currently investigating the matter, talking to police and local authorities and seeking to meet with the licensee of the pub.
