This Friday begins the “Reclaim the Fields” action camp, near the site of the planned Wrexham Mega Prison in North Wales.

Between Friday and next Wednesday, people will gather, garden, meet each other and make actions and demonstrations against the prison and in support of local resistance to fracking. There is also a full programme of workshops, talks, film showings, and practical skillshares. Even for those of us who don’t get so excited about camping in fields with soggy hippies, there is some interesting stuff going on here and some real passion for the fight against the expanding prison system.
