Aged prisoner dies in Korydallos infirmary

News has been coming out that an elderly prisoner of 75 perished due to the unhealthy and inhumane conditions prevailing at Korydallos prison, and specifically in its medical facilities. The prisoners have been noting and protesting this for quite some time now, and now there is another victim due to the neglect and ill-will of the authorities.

The prisoner was apparently sentenced for writing bad checks. If you’ve got no connections, then you go to prison- but if you’re a well-placed banker, you can write as many bad checks as you like, as much financial fraud as can be humanly accomplished, and then you will be bailed out with other people’s pension funds.
