These words come the Greek prisons where the comrades Babis Tsilianidis, Dimitris Dimtsiadis, Socrates Tzifkas, and Dimitris Fessas are held. These four went into hiding on October 13, 2010 when their friend and comrade Giannis Skouloudis was arrested red-handed arsoning a Greek Electricity Company vehicle and arrest warrants were issued for them. They carried out a string of attacks while underground and wrote under the name “Collaboration of Individuals for the Realizing of the Negative” before they were finally arrested on January 13, 2011. Illegal Anarchism (2011)

The false dichotomy

The title of our talk might seem, to the newcomer reading, a tautology. Interestingly, many of us who assume ourselves to be part of Anarchism, also consider that it is a reiteration to speak of “illegal anarchism”, however this particular label makes sense if, and only if, there is the existence of two antagonistic positions around the realization of direct action — that is, at the moment when we bring all of our theory to practice. This antagonism, as unfortunate as undeniable inside our movement, will be the cause of these peculiar “distinctions.” So to get into the issue of this theme, we need to address the false dichotomy: “legalistic anarchism “ v. “ illegal anarchism.”

Appendix to an aborted debate on attack and anonimity (en/it/fr)

debate is the in-depth exploration of a certain question through the confrontation between two or more sides, each one with their own position. Unlike those who think that debates are to be avoided as to not provoke divisions, we think that they have to be nourished. Because the goal of a debate is not to declare a winner before whom all have to bend the knee, but to enrich the conscience of each one. Debates clarify the ideas. The enunciation of and the confrontation between different ideas – a debate is exactly this! – elucidates the dusky parts and indicates the weak points of these ideas.

translated by Actforfreedomnw!boubourAs

discover your individual subversion
do not be advised by the codes of behaviour of those who define normality
and discipline
Regain your individual autonomy as the starting point for the total
subversion of the existing society
Reverse the imprisoned reality which the media produce and let your
imagination dance free beyond taboo and inhibitions
Remember that the spectacle is decorated with bodies which sink the
reality under ghosts
Freezing the passion and life through prefabricated terror scenario which
just like gangrene spreads its death song
Do not get trapped within the mass alienation which is the spiritual
prison of capitalism and the state
For them to see it destroyed will not be happy image for them
Freedom demands the total destruction of authority
The destruction of their world which is built on the chains of sacrifice
and pain of thousands of people
For an insurrectional life and for a continuous attack on their castles”.

Text for Mauricio Morales Duarte
from Giannis Skouloudis, Babis Tsilianidis, Socratis Tzifkas, Dimitris Dimtsiadis
Comrades, it was not only a moment. It did not pass and go. It was not forgotten. It left something behind. When refusals are transubstantiation into conscious choices and those in turn, into actions and the actions themselves into wild performances. Not into a fact with a beginning and an end neither into a tragic loss, but into a relay. A relay that with surplus courage will seek new revolutionary cycles, new bodies that turn disobedience into practice and are not charmed by fictitious lives, new paths that will sow the havoc and will carry out what we impatiently affix. Besides something always remains. They say that ideas are indelible. Here, and there and everywhere. Not only you, not only us, everyone. All and for always. We still have a long way in front of us.
Comrade, thousands of kilometres might interfere also a lot of seas might separate us. However in your thought we take strength and we are filled with courage because you fell for something much in common: for the destruction of this world.

“This is why you my lads with the sword, the fire and the rage in the mouth I want you to come out naked in the cities, as the viper goes through the gardens of barley with its proud eyes furious as the lightnings streams through the youth.”
