Results of monday courts after New Year Punk Gig (Minsk-Belarus)
On January 12 in Minsk court have ruled on three cases of people detained on Saturday at New Year Punk Show. All the three people were charged with minor hooliganism, two of them were additionally charged with distribution of extremist materials. During the court the Judge have found violations in protocols on distribution of extremist materials so the documents were send back to police to fix the violations.
The Hearing started with Judge forbidding friends and comrades to enter the court room. However several people managed to go through and observe the process. All the detainees were accused of swearing at the moment of riot police entrance to the club. They all accepted the charges. The result was not so optimistic: the girl got around 100 euro fine, two guys were sentenced to 10 days in prison. It is still unclear when the hearing on distribution of extremist materials will be held.
One of the detainees reported that he was beaten up in police station.

As part of the investigation Mikalai Dziadok underwent psychiatric forensic examination in prison. Mikalai has been sentenced to 4.5 years of imprisonment within the frames of the so-called case of anarchists. He was found guilty in malicious hooliganism. On November 20, 3.5 months before his release from jail, a new action against him was taken for severe disobedience to the prison rules. Mikalai Dziadok faces a new prison term, up to 1 year.

Verhaftungen und Verurteilungen nach anarchistischer Kundgebung in Minsk
At least 4 people were from 3 to 15 days in Minsk after anarchist rally that was held this Monday. There were no police during the Rally that lasted for 5 minutes. However later on people were detained by police from their working places.

Belarusian prisoners’ news. November 2014
On November 20 Mikalai Dziadok was charged with malicious disobedience to the demands of prison administration (art.411). This became known from a state lawyer, who had been called to attend the procedure. The case was started on November 13. In the near future the anarchist will be transferred to the pre-trial detention centre as a defendant.
Before that Dziadok had spent 8 days in a punishment cell, and was transferred to the solitary confinement. The prisoner must have been set free on March 3, 2015 after 4.5 year in prison. The new case can add a year to his final sentence.

Arrests after anarchist rally in Minsk
At least 4 people were from 3 to 15 days in Minsk after anarchist rally that was held this Monday. There were no police during the Rally that lasted for 5 minutes. However later on people were detained by police from their working places. They were prosecuted next day for disobedience and violation of rules of public gatherings.

Comrades from dozen of places congratulated Mikalai Dziadok
Today the anarchist prisoner Mikalai Dziadok turns 26. This is his forth and hopefully the last birthday that he celebrates behind the bars.
At the beginning of the month we spread a call to make a video-congratulation for Mikalai. We are grateful to everyone who answered this call and sent us their postcards. We tried not to alter them and compiled one big video of people saying ‘Happy birthday’ in different languages. Mikalai will be able to see it only in half a year when he is free, but we have an opportunity to enjoy it right now.
