In Braunschweig ist Ende 2013 der Spitzel Ralf Gross enttarnt worden, der seit Frühjahr 2012 dortige Zusammenhänge infiltriert hat. Im Mittelpunkt seines Einsatzes stand offensichtlich die Kampagne gegen die Schlachtfabriken in den niedersächsischen Orten Wietze und Wietzen (Wietze/n-Kampagne). Gross interessierte sich aber auch für weitere Kampagnen der Tierbefreiungsbewegung, die Waldbesetzung im Hambacher Forst, überregionale Anti-Repressions- und lokale Antifa-Strukturen. Im folgenden ist aufgeführt, wie Gross sich Stück für Stück in die Szene einschlich, wie er auftrat und was an ihm auffiel. Daran schließt eine Schilderung seiner Enttarnung und eine Einschätzung des Falls an.

This article addresses the police use of new technologies to monitor and track the movements of people using cell phones or smart phones. It highlights the vulnerabilities of such phones, especially for those that may be subject to surveillance (such as warriors). Although the article does not go into other techniques, it is well known that such devices can also be turned into active listening devices even when turned off (by police or intelligence agencies secretly downloading “spyware” onto your phone, for example).

Undercover cop Nadia Chikko, aka “Gloves,” spent the day on the stand giving testimony about a litany of audio recordings from the wires that she and the other undercover cop involved in this case, Mohmet (“Mo” or “Turk”) Nguyen, wore while infiltrating the Chicago activist community and targeting these defendant. The state has introduced 55 audio recordings into evidence. Chikko’s testimony went through more than 30 of the recordings today, with the remaining expected to be covered tomorrow.
