There are between 2 and 3 thousand migrants now from war-torn regions of the world (Syria, Eritrea, Afghanistan, Sudan, and so on) huddled in Calais trying to get across the fences and the 20 miles of cold salt water to England.

The health condition of the hunger striker Theofilos Mavropoulos, who is being hospitalized guarded in the State Hospital of Nikea, has deteriorated. According to the lab results, he showed an electrolytic disorder (low potassium), which the doctors try to work out, while at the same time respecting his personal choice of continuing the hunger strike.

GRECIA:16 marzo, Bourzoukos e Politis si uniscono allo sciopero della fame
Dal 16 marzo altri due partecipanti alla Rete dei Prigionieri in lotta (DAK secondo l’ acronimo greco),gli anarchici Andreas-Dimitris Bourzoukos e Dimitris Politis, hanno iniziato lo sciopero della fame con le stesse richieste degli altri prigionieri che hanno iniziato il 2 marzo , in un comunicato congiunto hanno solidarizzato con tutti i prigionieri in sciopero della fame nelle carceri greche.
