Gerasimos Tsakalos suffers from very strong headaches almost permanently on a daily basis as a result of themulti-day hunger strike. Giorgos Polydoros has α very low pulse (36-40 beats per minute) in combination with low pressure (8/4) which means an immediate risk for a heart attack. Both have already problems with their liverand bile.

We continue the hunger strike for the 27th day and now hospitalized in Tzanio hospital. Our health may be in a “worrying point” as doctors say, but this does not affect us at all. Let us make ourselves clear once again.

The comrade has been transferred in Tzanio hospital in Pireus. His health has severely deteriorated, as he has lost almost 13% of his body weight, he has various problems because of the strike and has a medical history of bronchial asthma.
The brother of the CCF member Giorgos Polydoros was released today at noon. He was arrested by the counter-terrorism agaency during the frenzy of arrests of relatives of members of CCF. The struggle continues until the release of the mother of Christos and Gerasimos Tsakalos and the girlfriend of the latter, who are in prison for vindictive reasons. Struggle until the victory of all hunger strikers for the abolishing of the article 187, the law about commiting crimes hooded, the law concerning type C prisons, the law concerning DNA sampling and the release of Savas Xiros.
