Vijfdelige reeks lezingen: Anarchisme als theorie van maatschappijverandering

2015 was een druk jaar met acties op allerlei fronten. Naast al deze acties en demonstraties is het tijd voor wat verdieping in de vorm van theorie. Daarom organiseert Autonomen Den Haag een vijfdelige reeks lezingen over het Anarchisme als theorie van maatschappijverandering. In deze vijf lezingen neemt de spreker Peter Storm je mee van de grondleggers van de Anarchistische theorie naar de hedendaagse denkers. De eerste lezing zal plaatsvinden op dinsdag 19 januari in het Autonoom Centrum Den Haag. Alle andere data zijn te vinden onderaan deze tekst.

Il 1 maggio a Roma è da 34 anni “festa del non lavoro”. Altro che concertone di piazza San Giovanni. Il 1 maggio del 1986 vennero aperti i cancelli del Forte Prenestino, e dal 1986 il Forte Prenestino è un centro sociale occupato e autogestito restituito alla città e alla cittadinza. E dal quel 1986 la sede della festa del non lavoro.

Abandoned hotel squatted for 400 refugees

In the morning of April 22nd, activists and refugees joined action to squat an abandoned hotel in the northern center of Athens. The “Hotel Plaza” is supposed to host up to 400 refugees, and hopefully in the upcoming week, they will be able to receive further room requests. Since the occupants have entered the building, the weekend has been a busy one: The rooms have been aired and cleaned, the kitchen cleaned and prepared for cooking, weeds and trash removed from the front entrance, the first meals cooked, assemblies held and plans made.
