Enquanto membro dos grupos Proletários Armados pelo Comunismo (P.A.C) e Comunistas Organizados pela Libertação Proletária (C.O.L.P) teve que se exilar em 1982 devido à repressão. “Sobre uma Sociedade Decadente” (Editora Resistência), de Fabio da Silva Barbosa, é uma coletânea de textos que escritos em diversas ocasiões para tentar entender o caos social que reina a nossa volta e compartilhar algumas impressões. Não se trata de livro escrito pelo dono da verdade ou intelectual de gabinete, mas reflexões de um cara comum que não se preocupa em dar respostas. Também não se trata de receita de bolo ou manual de instruções. Através do fluxo contínuo da mente e da reestruturação constante do pensamento, o texto vai brotando e registrando o sentir. Um breve olhar em volta já faz nascer a indignação necessária para produzir. É um livro para ser lido como um diálogo totalmente informal, bate papo na mesa de bar.

Daarom organiseert Autonomen Den Haag een vijfdelige reeks lezingen over het Anarchisme als theorie van maatschappijverandering. In deze vijf lezingen neemt de spreker Peter Storm je mee van de grondleggers van de Anarchistische theorie naar de hedendaagse denkers. A scuola mi hanno insegnato in due paragrafi l’irresitibile ascesa dei bolscevichi fra febbraio e ottobre e, in lunghe e noiose pagine, la progressiva realizzazione del loro regime totalitario. La morale era chiara: la rivoluzione non può portare che al dispotismo della peggiore specie. Poi c’è stata la lettura di Volin che ha frantumato definitivamente la bambolina più grande della matrioska. 1917 non era più la storia di un semplice colpo di Stato, ma ridiventava un processo rivoluzionario ricco e rigoglioso, con molteplici forze in campo. Rabble have published an English translation of the preface and introduction of the book “Against Democracy” (Contra la democracia, 92 pages, edited by Coordinated Anarchist Groups – G.A.C.: Grupos Anarquistas Coordinados): an analysis of both parliamentary and alternative democracy as an expression of the system of domination.
The present work is a complete translation of La Revolution Inconnue, 1917-1921, first published in French in 1947, and re-published in Paris in 1969 by Editions Pierre Belfond. An abridged, two-volume English translate of the work was published in 1954 and 1955 by the Libertarian Book Club (New York City) and Freedom Press (London).
