Diffondiamo il comunicato che, dal carcere di Ferrara, ci è giunto oggi in vista dell’udienza del prossimo lunedì per il processo che vede imputat  Adriano e Gianluca 

per una serie di attacchi contro responsabili delle nocività.

After two years and two months of   peacefully blocking  the entrance to U.S.-based Kappes, Cassiday & Associates (KCA) El Tambor gold mine, local residents of San Jose del Golfo and San Pedro Ayampuc were violently evicted by Guatemalan Police forces in order to introduce heavy machinery inside the industrial site. Led by the local women, members of the La Puya resistance prayed and sang until they were faced with tear gas. Numerous locals were injured and detained.

The function of space throughout the development of capital could be described as true ‘history’. From the first enclosures of great masses of people into circumscribed spaces to the most advanced factories today, capitalism has tried to cut out portions of space to dedicate them to one specific use: the production of surplus value. Now, with the advent of the recent post-industrial development and advances in technology, the management of this space has changed profoundly. It has passed from a partial management to a total one. Here capital has had the support of power and the State. We think that it is important to reflect on the conditions of the relationship that exists today between social space and capital.

More than 30 years ago many militants from armed groups took a train and left from Italy. In the latest ’80s a good number of them arrived in France, being the first of the waves of those who had the urgency to put as many kilometers as possible between them and Italy, where repression was striking hard.
After that first sigh of relief many others followed with every rejected extradition request and with every granted provisional freedom decree.
