PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL— Community activists with Everglades Earth First! have halted what they call Kolter Development’s “illegal” construction in Palm Beach Gardens’ Briger Forest. A disabled vehicle is sitting in the road at the construction entrance to the site and two people have locked their bodies to it. This week work crews began clearing trees for the construction, which has been mired in controversy for years. If completed, the development would destroy the 681-acre Briger Forest, one of the largest unprotected forests of its size in the southern region of the state.

November 1st should be an action day for animal liberation, not a partying day for veganism.
On November 1st, 2014, at around 2am, we did a series of actions at the European side of Istanbul: two trucks that transport dead chickens were sabotaged, tires blown, front windows broken, locks glued.
“Viva animal liberation” slogans were also spray-painted in the same neighbourhood. Another fast-food restaurant nearby was attacked, windows smashed. . . .
November 1st should be a day of action, not a day of celebration.

La madrugada del viernes 24 de octubre se ataco una carniceria en Alajuela, Costa Rica. Se sellaron sus candados, y se rayo sus paredes con el mensaje “CARNE ES ASESINATO” en respuesta a la convocatoria de la Jornada de Acción Directa por la Liberación Animal. Nos unimos e invitamos a todxs lxs anti-especistas que habiten este territorio y de otros territorios a romper con la pasividad. La liberación animal no se lograra comprando en un supermercado.

On Sunday, October 19 the ALF raided a chinchilla farm in Itapecerica da Serra (São Paulo). About 100 chinchillas, suffering in the intense heat, were rescued and are being cared for by activists. The site was covered in painted messages.
After being denied release on bail last week, Kevin is transferred to a jail south of Chicago.
