Luigi Galleani y los anarquistas de acción en Estados Unidos.

Hace tiempo que queríamos hacer este texto. Creemos que es importante tener presente a este anarquista tan influyente en un momento, tan perdido por lo menos en algunas regiones y tan olvidado por la historia oficial. Olvido en parte compartido también, además, por movimientos muy preocupados por el “buenísmo” de sus integrantes frente a “la gente” a quienes hay que caerles bien. Y no se le cae bien al parecer a “la gente” mostrando la realidad si fue de lucha real, sino por el contrario al parecer hay que dar lástima.

Biography: Luigi Galleani

Luigi Galleani (1861-1931) was a major 20th century anarchist born in Vercelli Italy. Famous internationally, he was a proponent of propaganda by the deed. Galleani became versed in legal and political theory at the University of Turin while acquiring a law degree. As a fervent supporter of Anarchism, he was wanted by the Italian police. Consequently, Galleani fled Turin before completing his degree in 1880. Galleani wound up in France, where he would spend 20 years. He spent a brief period in Switzerland before being deported. Galleani was deported soon after arriving in France, and returned to Italy.

Nace en Pantelleria (Italia) en el año 1881. Es ahí donde distintos militantes revolucionarios son enviados a la prisión del territorio, entre ellos Luigi Galleani, quién fundase el llamado “Círculo Social”. Este funcionaba como una escuela popular dónde además de compartir enseñanzas para quienes deseaban aprender a leer y escribir, se conversaba sobre temas políticos y revolucionarios.

Luigi Galleani es sin duda la figura clave entre los círculos antiorganización de lengua italiana. Activo sobre todo en Italia y en los Estados Unidos, donde vive entre 1901 y 1919, orador y editor, llega a promover en torno a él una red solidaria de militantes dedicados a la acción directa y a la revuelta antiautoritaria, con un gran objetivo común: provocar una revolución social transnacional y permitir así a los explotados organizar una sociedad libre y comunista.
