Nei compagni anarchici c’è un rapporto ambivalente con il problema dell’organizzazione.
Ai due estremi si collocano l’accettazione della struttura permanente, dotata di un programma ben delineato, con mezzi a disposizione (anche se pochi) e suddivisa in commissioni; e, dall’altro lato, il rifiuto di ogni rapporto stabile e strutturato anche nel breve periodo.
Informal organisation

First let us distinguish the informal anarchist organisation from the anarchist organisation of synthesis. Considerable clarification will emerge from this distinction.
What is an anarchist organisation of synthesis? It is an organisation based on groups or individuals that are more or less in constant relation with each other, that culminates in periodical congresses. During these open meetings basic theoretical analyses are discussed, a program is prepared and tasks are shared out covering a whole range of interventions in the social field. The organisation thus sets itself up as a point of reference, like an entity that is capable of synthesizing the struggles that are going on in reality of the class clash. The various commissions of this organisational model intervene in different struggles (as single comrades or groups) and, by intervening, give their contribution in first person without however losing site of the theoretical and practical orientation of the organisation as a whole, as decided at the most recent congress.

Le federazioni anarchiche classiche (vecchia e nuova maniera) e gli individualisti, costituiscono i due estremi di qualcosa che cerca comunque di sfuggire alla realtà dello scontro. Il compagno aderente alle strutture organizzate spera che dalla crescita quantitativa venga fuori una modificazione rivoluzionaria della realtà, per cui si concede l’illusione a buon mercato di controllare ogni involuzione autoritaria della struttura e ogni concessione alla logica del partito. Il compagno individualista è geloso del proprio io e teme ogni forma di contaminazione, ogni concessione agli altri, ogni collaborazione attiva, pensando queste cose come cedimenti e compromessi.

Os Cangaceiros was a group of delinquents with nothing but contempt for the self-sacrificial ideology practiced by “specialists in armed struggle”. This uncontrollable band of social rebels wreaked havoc on the French state by attacking the infrastructures of oppression, supporting popular revolts, stealing and releasing secret blueprints for high-tech prisons, raiding the offices of corporate collaborators, and creating their lives in complete opposition to the world based on work. This volume, translated by Wolfi Landstreicher, is the first collection of the writings of Os Cangaceiros in English.
