Dans la nuit du 21 mars 84, Jean M., un chômeur
de 49 ans, a saccagé les bureaux des Assedic
de Rennes, qui refusaient de lui donner
l’argent qu’il en attendait. Terminaux d’ordinateurs,
téléphones, machines à écrire et à
calculer, sanitaires broyés par dizaines à la
masse. Tous les dossiers qui traînaient là ont
été bousillés à coups d’extincteur.
De la belle ouvrage !
Ce que Jean M. a fait, nous sommes des centaines
et des milliers à avoir eu envie de le
faire.

Scandale à la Courneuve

Os Cangaceiros N°1, Janvier 1985.

Au début de juillet 83, un gamin de 10 ans est assassiné à La Courneuve
par un habitant, alors qu’il s’amusait avec des pétards. Cela s’est passé à
la cité des 4 000. Contrairement à ce qui s’était passé à Chatenay-Malabry
ou à Nanterre, la réaction des habitants et surtout des jeunes fut très vive.

The tyranny of weakness

We came up against weakness everywhere today. We are weak, or act as though we are for fear of seeming different.
It is no longer fashionable to be self-assured or to have knowledge of oneself or others or things. It seems old fashioned, almost bad taste. We no longer make any effort to do things well, and by that I mean the things we have chosen to do, that we believe we would do at any cost. Against logic itself, we do them badly, superficially, without paying any attention to detail. We do not exactly boast about this weakness of course, but use it as a kind of screen to hide behind.

Au lecteur,
Notre amie et associée Andréa apprend en 1985 qu’elle a le cancer. Après opération, rayons et chimiothérapie, elle n’a plus espoir de guérir. En octobre 1990, on lui propose un traitement expérimental ; elle met alors à exécution une décision qu’elle avait prise depuis longtemps, celle de rompre radicalement avec le milieu hospitalier et médical, cela pour garder l’initiative de sa fin. Elle écrit deux lettres, l’une aux infirmières, l’autre à son amie Bella. Son choix est fait. Elle rejoint ses amis pour y chercher une complicité par rapport à son combat, non par rapport à sa maladie. Elle va faire tout un flan d’une histoire banale.
