Depersonalization and alienation from our deepest desires is implanted during childhood via school, church, movies, and TV, and soon reaches the point where an individual’s desire is not only a net of contradictions, but also a commodity like all the others. “True life” always seems to be just a bit beyond what a weekly paycheck and credit card can afford, and is thus indefinitely postponed. Green Anarchy (sottotitolo: Il giornale della teoria e dell’azione dell’Anticiviltà), fondato nell’estate del 2000 da alcuni degli ideatori della rivista britannica Green Anarchist, è un periodico pubblicato tre volte l’anno dal collettivo di Eugene (Oregon-USA-) che affronta tematiche quali l’anarchismo, l’ecologismo radicale, l’anarco-primitivismo, la resistenza indigena, la liberazione animale e della terra, l’anticapitalismo, il sostegno ai prigionieri politici ecc.
Cuando descubrí las ideas anarquistas a finales de los años 70, principios de los 80, era común que se hablase de juego subversivo, bajo la influencia de la Internacional Situacionista y de los aspectos positivos de la contracultura. Hay mucho a ganar pensando nuestra práctica en estos términos. En particular pienso que considerar la práctica revolucionaria anarquista como un juego subversivo es una buena manera de comprender los objetivos, principios y métodos anarquistas que constituyen la base de desarrollo de nuestras estrategias y tácticas. Presupongo que todo anarquista querría poner un fin a cada institución, estructura y sistema de dominación y explotación. El rechazo de esto es, después de todo, el significado básico del anarquismo. Del mismo modo, la mayoría estarían de acuerdo que entre estas instituciones, estructuras y sistemas se encuentran el estado, la propiedad privada, la religión, la ley, la familia patriarcal, la gobernación de la sociedad de clases…
