There are times when the provocations of the free life we hunt for in this boxed world inevitably bring us before small or large dilemmas. If there is however some beauty in this world, it is definitely not in the streets where the hesitant crowd moves, but in the paths which unpredictably escape from our perceived field. The ambush and beating I got was an unexpected consequence of a decision I made and it was definitely an incident which hurt me. But words in here will not be consumed on this part, because maybe words are enough to describe such an incident, but are definitely not enough to answer it in any way. Remaining on the part of their text therefore, my desire was from the first moment to answer very simply and calmly to their claims in the sequence they were written in. I had begun immediately actually, a few days after the attack, and I had gone quite far. However, after reading their text again and again I simply couldn’t take it.
How do you answer such a delirium of lies without falling to their level?

Scrivo a tutti i compagni di lotta, ai NO TAV di valle e di città, a quei giovinastri scalmanati che nel febbraio 2012 invadevano l’A32 e a quelli meno giovani che già nel 2005 avanzavano a colpi di bastone oltre le reti del cantiere. Vi scrivo per abbattere la distanza che adesso ci separa, per far si che questo momento si trasformi in un’occasione per continuare a conoscerci, per lanciare e ricevere spunti di riflessione.

In 2011, the staff at Mansfield Correctional Institution (MANCI) became aware of a nascent guerilla sabotage movement starting among prisoners called the Army of the 12 Monkeys (A12M). A12M sabotage and organizing manual and propaganda began circulating among prisoners.

Quien es António?

Nuestro compañero, nacido en 1940, en un medio familiar economicamente pobre, no conforme con la desigualdad social a la que estaba sometido, puso en practica su rebeldia y fué detenido por primera vez cuando tenia 17 años de edad. Yá después de estos acontecimientos fué secuestrado tres veces más por el estado fascista (hasta 1974), y por el actual estado democratico. En total lleva ya más de 43 años de detención. Aprovechó el tiempo de reclusión para leer, estudiar por si mismo y tomar mayor conciencia del mundo a su alrededor. António es un libertario y un autodidacta.
La lectura de varias obras y el contacto directo con la realidad prisional han hecho de António un ciudadano enterado y socialmente preocupado, tornandose protagonista activo de varias luchas por la justicia y por los derechos de ciudadania de los presos. Hoy, el es una referencia etica y civica para los que no se dejan degradar por el sistema, que no se hunden en el pantano de las drogas y traficos, para los que no se venden.
