Announcing Ill Will Editions, a Multilingual Zine Project

tumblr_nfm8fm5au11tvr0q1o1_1280

Ill Will Editions is a relatively new multilingual zine-making project currently based in Berlin. Our focus is on anarchy, anti-politics, proletarian insurrection, trans-feminism, afropessimism, anti-prison & anti-cop activity. We envision this project as a contribution to a transatlantic circulation of theory, local analyses, and exchange around the varied forms that revolt and rebellion has taken and will continue to take.

This book is about living in hiding. It pierces the darkness and leaps into the secrecy of the incognito, a parallel dimension in which even what could be said often is not. Out of excess of tact, fear or because one thinks it is not relevant. Or, in certain milieux and in the worst cases, due to mere political tactics. But, even at a glance, the world of clandestine people is not a desert land; on the contrary it is populated by living beings, experiences and ideas that are very close to ours, in both the most miserable and the most fascinating aspects of our lives, close to our most ardent desires and passionate daydreams.

Abou Kamel (Omar Aziz)

Some thoughts on being an anarchist at the beginning of the 21st century

A serialized book-in-progress by Wolfi Landstreicher

Introduction

“…we are alone, with an entire world ranged against us.
-Andrea Dorea

I have been an anarchist for well over thirty years now. For me this has never been an identity to which to cling, a label to give me a sense of belonging. It has rather been an ongoing challenge to face my life in a particular way, constantly raising the
question of what it means to reject every form of domination and exploitation in my life on a practical level. This is not a simple question with easy answers, but a problem that I have to wrestle with constantly, because I am facing a world here and
now in which domination and exploitation define social relationships, in which most individuals are dispossessed of every possibility of determining their own existence, alienated from the creative energy through which such a project could be
realized. As an anarchist, I have made a decision to reject and fight against this world.

Insurrectionary Anarchism

insurrectionaryanarchism

A collection of two of our older publications on insurrectionary anarchy. “Some Notes on Insurrectionary Anarchism” by sasha k. lays out the basic principles of insurrectionary anarchism: attack, autonomous self-organization, rejection of management, illegality, informality, the synthesis of individualism and communism, and immediacy. “Without a Trace” (from the UK publication Do or Die) echoes these ideas and elaborates upon the possibility of anonymity and generalization.
